If they put cameras in your bathroom and you are not aware, your privacy wasn’t violated
This was the Chairman of the US Intelligence Committee
And somehow voyeurism is still illegal.
It’s illegal when the poors do it. The rich can’t cash in on that as easily.
If they put cameras in your bathroom and you are not aware, your privacy wasn’t violated.
There’s a reason they own all the major operating systems, messaging apps, social media platforms, cloud infrastructure and spy agencies.
There’s always going to be some deliberate loopholes and exploits in or between the supply-chain to get to you when you’re inside their ecosystem.
But some companies promise you’re “secure” and “private” if you use one of their expensive, shiny offerings. They swear it on their marketing, ads and PR releases.
It’s that comfy feels of paying more for a false sense of privacy and security that matters.
tldr; Use Linux and open source.
It’s much easier to just attack the statement with NO, that is in fact not how the human right to privacy works. It is just misconduct, it is just extreme ignorance, a lack of knowledge about the things that your country put the person in charge of.
Frontal lobe bait
You can’t be targeted if you don’t know you’re targeted.
Tell me, if i spy on you ewery day after work when you are unlocking your bicycle to go home, and each day i see one more number, so at the end of the week i know whole passcode for unlocking your bibycle.
Did i not violate your privacy and security just because you dont know that i was spying on you??
Who do you think is going to answer
Let me be more direct. Here is the situacion. Big companies are spying on people and use that informacions directly against you.
People dont know that this is happenening so they cant be mad about it. If you explain to someone what is going on anyone will be mad and say no am not allowing this any more. But the thing is, even when one realises what is going on they dont see any way how to stop that. Thats why many people say that is shit but we cant stop it no matter what we do, so lets pretend it doesnt exist. Only knowledge is opsticle between our freedom and us. Nothing else… Ofcourse we can stop spying on us, but for that you first need to understand how spying works.
Noone is braking ito your system and stealing informacion about you. No the sustem you are using is collecting that info and sending it wilingly! Am talking about Windows here, Mac os and on boile devoces Android and Ios. Linux on pc doesnt do that, graphine os on mobile is not doing that, but people dont know it.
People need to realise what open source software is. Because eweryone are using software so much these days, so they need to know some thing about the stuff that they are using…
People do know. People would not say it is shit if they didn’t know about it. It isn’t just “nerds” that are aware, my mom’s friend spontaneously brought up she didn’t want to install what’s app because “it’s meta”…(admittedly, she also said “I have enough meta” which is a bit tech-illiterate). my uncle rants about it (admittedly …on Facebook). These are pensioners with nothing to hide. It really is legislation and not awareness that is clogging and this is not strange following auth right waves. But nobody thinks or agrees with the title (which is why it’s good clickbait ofc). Even the policy makers in an auth right carousel don’t believe it, they just perform as they should to climb the ladder.
Great that your old ones have realised it but unfortinatly those are rare individuals. I remember when they started prompting people to acept cookies, people started avoiding that exceptence even thoy its taking third of the screen on mobile devices. So that clearly shows that when they tell you this is for spying on you, acsept it. People are refusing to do that even when it its painful to use website like that. Means it does matter to people, and they are willing to sacrifice something to achive privacy, but before noone told them that there is tracking and asked them to allow or not allow that.
Me. And the answers is: maybe
So what I’m hearing is that theft doesn’t exist if no one is caught. Right? Supermarket chains etc. complaining of theft from any source other than recovered goods from said theft should be null and void.
How in my bathroom? Like in the bidet?
Did you really get raped, or did the roofie I put in your drink do its job?
Giggity
Mike Rogers deserves to not ever feel safe or secure. I hope he dies.
Well I have some good news for you!
Just not yet lol
Mike Rogers has been IGNORING privacy violation complaints for ten years*!
This is the guy Abdul El-Sayed is running against.
This is the type of motherfucker to say:
“Well I raped you while you were drunk asleep, and you didn’t wake up, so was it really rape?”
It’s not a crime if it’s not discovered?
Someone ought to tell his wife to get STI tests done pronto.
To a Republican? The answer is a resounding yes!
And if it is discovered, it is the fault of the person discovering obviously.
“You can’t have a home invasion if you don’t know the robber is hiding in the closet”
If I kill someone without them noticing I would not be a murderer by that logic.
