1·2 个月前To some degree you’re right, reading doesn’t make you intelligent in and of itself, but I do think constantly reading like that does make you to some degree smarter. Like even if you’re reading slop, you’re probably smarter than if you had been reading nothing.
It has also been proven that reading makes you more empathetic, because you are actively putting yourself in the character’s headspace.
So Moral Orel is an entire series of “The Simpsons did it”.
Was this the pilot or something? I don’t remember Moral Orel looking like this.

2·2 个月前If it was possible for her to be replaced by someone progressive you’d have a point. I don’t think it is though. I don’t want a potentially competent fascist replacing her. She probably did more harm to her party by sticking around, even just by going completely mask off to show other people how fucking crazy the conservatives are.
Yes in an ideal world you’re right, but we’re so far gone from that point that I would likely rather have her than whoever will replace her.
There’s also that despite being batshit crazy, she did push for a bill to both stop weapons from going to Isreal, and to release the Epstein files. She at least occasionally did something we agreed with, even if for the wrong reasons. She will likely just be replaced with some dipshit who won’t rock the fascist boat. She was proving to be an occasionally useful idiot and will just be replaced by an idiot.

We weren’t even harsh towards you. We just said there’s a difference between fuck and the f-slur and that the dude was gay.
I get it, just maybe look into things a bit before just labeling someone a bigot. To be fair you can be both gay and homophobic, I just don’t think that’s the case here, he’s just an edgelord. He also said this when he was like 18 and as far as I remember he hasn’t used the f-slur in his newest records.

13·3 个月前Not always true, I’m white, cis, and straight born to conservative Christian parents but fell out of that line of thinking by my teenage years. A lot of it really was just learning and understanding history and politics. Making friends with black kids early on might have helped as well.
As long as you are intelligent you likely would have figured it out on your own.
The numbers actually say you’re naive.

Part of why Trump won was because he turned over a lot of non-white voters, not because a larger share of white people voted for him than before.
Hillary won the popular vote. Obama won the presidency.
I’m sick of this “Kamala lost because of racism and sexism” argument. She lost because she was a shit candidate. If she was as “educated” as you think she is she wouldn’t have capitulated to the right (who actually are racist, sexist and would never vote for her) and alienated her voters dipshit.
And before you say it, I begrudgingly voted for her because it was the only way to stop fascism. I wish others had too, but thinking it was because the left was “racist and sexist” is fucking delusional.

Dark Souls was 2011 and it was way more influential than all those games (except maybe Minecraft).
Rhinos have a temperament similar to dogs. As long as you don’t intentionally fuck with them they’re typically chill. They’re likely friends and playing otherwise I doubt the zookeepers would have let this happen.
