    I mean considering that we needed radical change to what we were up to in the opposite direction…… the damage and setbacks are pretty devastating, no?

    the problem i see is that this work takes time to get rolling, but it takes one stroke of the pen to cease entirely. this work may only be stopped for 4 years, but it will be 6+ years before it’s resumed, and then it could be stopped again in another 2- after that and then in 10 years we’ll have 1-2 years of progress
