So I (M25) really enjoy using toys. I have plugs, dildos and a bad dragon masturbator and I also prefer to douche if I’m doing butt stuff. My problem is that I’d like to use them more, but I find prep and cleanup such a chore that I’ll only open my toy drawer maybe once a month at most.
Depends on the size, tbh. For everything up to double the average man, I just don’t. I just take fiber supplements (just psyllium husks, nothing fancy) and clean the outside. Yeah, shit happens, but rarely. I once worried about it, but I have outgrown that, at least with toys.
With the exception of my vibrating prostate massager, all my toys are quite a bit bigger than the average cock lol. For me the worst part is the cleanup afterwards though, I tend to use quite a lot of lube so I end up taking my toys in the shower with me but it’s still a pain cleaning multiple toys after each session. Maybe I’m just lazy
To save time at cleaning the toys, you could use a condom on it while playing. Just make sure the reserve pocket at the top isn’t full of air when inserting the toy…
I often find it to be a chore too since it often takes longer than I want butt I always take the time to do it as pest I can to minimize accidents. They’re a buzz kill for me. I have a routine that I’ll share since maybe it’ll help you with yours.
I bought one of these and in the shower (wearing rubber gloves in case of accidents, totally optional) pump in some water, wipe off my butt w/ a paper towel, hop on the toilet and wash out. In the toilet I put down a layer of toilet paper beforehand to prevent poiseidans kiss lol. I repeat this multiple times as needed.
I prefer doing this way verses all in the shower because it’s cleaner (poop in toilet instead of shower) and I can take a break between rounds to gives any water and stuff to makes it’s way down. Helps prevent accidents I think.
Eating more fiber helps too.
Commenting for interest heh. I get limited time to play and cleanup definitely cuts my time shorter. I mostly stick to when I know I’m taking a shower and I’ll spray toys down while I’m there it’s fine.
A bidet attachment to my toilet was a game changer for this. On its maximum pressure with a bit of relaxation I can rinse out my colon all in the toilet so there’s no extra mess.
As for condoms on the toys, I tried that and it does make cleanup easier but I had issues with the toys shooting out of the condoms. You would have to get unlubricated ones to avoid that.
As for the actual cleaning, if your toys are made of hard plastic or actually platinum cured silicone you can safely use rubbing alcohol which is great for both cleaning fast as well as disinfecting.
