I definitely don’t think it’s irrelevant to anybody. Every pardon is justice for someone. He should have also been pushing hard to decriminalize the sort of thing that got them in prison to begin with. We have way too many things on the books, destroying people’s lives and grinding them up in the system for no good reason.
He’s been doing it his entire presidency for thousands of cases. He’s done it for more than any president.
