He should have been doing it the whole time. He was just looking for exit kudos. Which is better than nothing I guess.

Every president does this… Pardons are politically risky, so they wait until the end of their term and batch them.

Much more, as it happens. Trump just got elected on that platform.

Yeah of course it is you Goblin. These are people. They’re not just numbers they are actual human lives. Waving away that they now have clemency is psychotic. Of course it’s better.

Biden could have done this at any point in his presidency. He intentionally waited for it to be irrelevant.

You and those like you are the precise reason that Trump is coming back into office.

There is no point to you other than providing cover and apologetics to the failed politics of the Democratic party.

Diffusing and providing excuses for the legitimate criticisms of their ability to govern to the needs of most Americans directly contributed to Trumps ascent into office for a second time.

Your brain is so corrupted by politics that you’ve completely lost sight of the actual people who are the targets of these pardons and only seem to care about how it helps or hurts politicians

I definitely don’t think it’s irrelevant to anybody. Every pardon is justice for someone. He should have also been pushing hard to decriminalize the sort of thing that got them in prison to begin with. We have way too many things on the books, destroying people’s lives and grinding them up in the system for no good reason.

He’s been doing it his entire presidency for thousands of cases. He’s done it for more than any president.

Wait didn’t Carter pardon everyone who left the US to escape the Vietnam draft? Hundreds of thousands of people.
