strange that two weeks ago the opening was like 150 mil a giant success, but maybe that just goes to predict or correlate with this number in some way. Giant opening means great buzz, means more sales. etc. guess it worked out. I need to watch it but probably will just do so at home.

In my view, this is part of what feminism still brings to the table despite what people say and all the arguments inside the topic and outside about the topic. When its only men in there, they speak assertive and with authority, when these powerful spaces allow others in or they barge in, the communication hopefully changes the powerful man’s point of view.

I say this because I was just reading this article a bit ago and really kinda makes sense of it. Its good to use hedging language, we just view it as weak. Thats often how science works, you cant always make strong claims unless you have high confidence in your findings and can rule out external factors

I’ve been using kbin mostly on my computer, and its interesting to see the lemmy.world feeds pop in. still learning all the function of kbin. on my phone I just use wefwef.app as there seems to be a lot more of the low brow content I am looking for when pooping like funny memes.

study more cultural theory, then you will be able to use fancy words and understand them within context. Cultural theory is such a fun topic.

ha, i went to check wefwef app when i woke up, updated it like ok that was why. no content after. realizing I’m enjoying the lemmy/kbin stuff now and would be sad without it. i try to browse reddit but I don’t want to waste my time there. I enjoy being a part of these cutting edge projects.
