Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Which Llama Server Hardware do you use?English
31·23 hours agoI like AI and use it often.
The q tip toes are so cute. My cat steals them out of the box in the bathroom, so when we have guests over we need to put out a disclaimer that the q tips on the floor are clean.
No friggen way

2·3 days agoAlso interested how this works for mobile apps. I self host a number of services through caddy as my reverse proxy but each application is just dependent on it’s own authentication. If I exposed all my services to the internet, that’s a huge attack vector. If anyone else has some ideas I’d be happy to listen.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How come if my dog is sick and I take him to get put out of his misery its ok? On a human its not? How come human laws don't apply to animals? I think of our dog as family and he's one of us?

Just Post@lemmy.world•Seriously how are people ignoring this?
1·4 days agoOh maybe. I haven’t come across any Trump supporters since the war. He threatened to invade my country so people don’t like him here as much.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•I luv polls! but Lemmy doesn't have them. Reddit used to have a decent polling feature, but they fouled it up around the time they had their IPO. Where can I find a good place for polls?
5·4 days agoI wouldn’t see why any instance would disallow a community like that.

10·4 days agoI’ve used strawpoll lots in the past. Super basic to answer, no accounts, just vote and then see results. Only one vote per machine, it records IP or machine data or something to prevent voting multiple times.
I will accept it.
and/or out of breath.
I hate that someone crudely added the e to this meme. It doesn’t even match. This is the proper one.
Edit: yes I understand it’s spelled wrong. I thought it was funny that the original creater used that spelling.

There was an option, and some companies did ship a disc with the installation files. Obviously the license was tied to the Steam account and not to the disc, but if companies weren’t shipping the disc with the license, that’s their fault for cheaping out, not Steam.
