Not counting Mario Wonder, there are 7 first party games announced for 2026, that isn’t a bad lineup, IMO. Though, I am hoping we will get at least a couple more.

Yeah, I am kind of same. If I am sure I am going to play a game, I don’t watch or read more about it.

I am a very patient gamer, other than Nintendo first party games and some very few exceptions, I rarely buy games day-1 (or even year-1, or year-5). Even then, when I do buy them they should feel worth the price. I don’t care much about the length, bought Metroid Dread on launch and was happy with what I got.

So, going to check some reviews and then decide. Would love to hear your opinion about it when you get it.

Have you watched the show Twin Peaks? I heard that Bright Falls is very similar to the one in show, and apparently it has somewhat similar vibe.

It does, but it’s about respecting the wishes of original creator. They want to keep working with him so don’t want to mess up their long term relation with a short term benefit.

I heard someone else say the same thing. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Well, mianly because this generation we kept getting PS4 games even from first party for many years. And also Pokémon is kind of it’s own thing in Nintendo’s lineup, and generally plays with different rules.

Did you see the Pokemon Winds and Waves trailer? What do you think about it?

I was planning to get Pokopia, but not sure its worth $70 for me.

This guy comes when you are building something. You probably need to pay more bells before he can complete his work. Dont’ recall if you need to talk to him or go to Town Center and talk to Tom Nook / Isabelle.

My bridge I started is coming alone okay ish. It’s almost 200,000 bells so I’m finding it hard to actually pay for it.

After taking care of all the main stuff, we decided to redecorate the whole island and move all the houses, didn’t want to spend too much time earning money so I “cheated” and got into Turnip business. Made tons of money. There used to be online apps where you could enter details of your island and it’s weather for few days and it would deduce the seed of your island, giving you details of turnip prices and when the meteor shower will be etc.

There was also a discord where people shared the prices of turnip in their island, so people would go to island with low rate and then go to island with high rate and sell it there.

Oooh, I remember some of these game. Would be nice to give them another whirl.

I want to get Little Rocket Lab, but with Pokémon Pokopia and Tomodachi Life coming out soon, I’ll have my fill of farming / management game for the time. I am not sure yet which one of these I’ll buy, will probably wait for the review.

Yeah. I haven’t played the second one (Rebirth?) yet, it should have more open spaces. At least they can add those, if they want.
