Thanks for the info and details. I’m hoping its real but maybe its best to wait till the 2nd round of production or something, let the journalists and tech reviewers be the guinea pigs for the next crowdfunding.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Never buying milk from Walmart againEnglish
81·4 months agosome whole milk has cream that settles at the top. Are you sure it was actually bad?
Edit: looks like you’re not the only one with issues with this brand. If you keep the container you can get a refund from the manufacturer or walmart.
GrapheneOS for now until Liberux NEXX becomes a thing or whatever linux phone with good enough security, privacy, and hardware. I’m most hopeful for liberux due to the hardware and the desktop mode so you can use it like a PC.

World News@lemmy.world•Hardliner conservative Sanae Takaichi becomes Japan’s first female leaderEnglish
22·4 months agoShe has openly aspired to be like Margaret Thatcher, the first woman to become British prime minister – known as the “Iron Lady,” a nickname that has since been used for Takaichi herself.
That being said, if you go back 100 years, Japan has only had 7 or so prime ministers that lasted 3 or more years. Most last 1-2 years or less. I’m not sure how much she can change, but its worth watching what new coalitions form with the LDP and also the rise of Sanseito (MAGA inspired Japanese-First party) in future elections.

politics @lemmy.world•2 Key Democrats Come Out And Say It: Trump Has 'Some Kind Of Dementia'English
17·4 months agoBusiness climate would be better under Vance, at least he won’t throw tariff tantrums and we know what to expect. Companies might actually start hiring again. Trump is so volatile that companies are hesitant to do anything right now, its just low hire, low fire wait it out for the next 3 years.
Edit: I would be surprised if Trump gets removed under the 25th amendment or impeached. The rules state the VP and majority of the cabinet would need to declare him unfit, then President could challenge, then you need a super-majority of two-thirds votes in both houses for it to stand. Very unlikely sequence of events. Unless something drastically changes in the midterm elections, I think its more likely for Trump to stay on as a puppet if he really has dementia or mental decline.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•I landed in another toxic workplace after quitting a previous one. What would you do in this scenario? (Open to all suggestions)English
12·4 months agoOP you are now a grey rock until you can get out. Good luck, if you have great worker protections as an EU worker, even better, just do your job, keep your head down. You can choose how you respond mentally and how it affects you. Don’t try to control what you can’t control. Take up mindfulness and meditation and a side of therapy if you need to while you work on getting a better job in the EU.

That’s great, glad you like em!
