1·5 hours agoYeah, but… I recently watched a documentary about a bunch of deadly diseases and except for one spread by mice in the US, all the viruses used bats as hosts. So I think it’s understandable that some people feel ambiguous about bats.
You can always help the world to become a better place and go kill billionaires until you end up in prison where you get jacked and read books. I don’t see a single flaw with this plan.

25·2 days agoWhen this whole thing with Lily Allen was a thing, where she got more from posting feet pic on OnlyFans than from Spotify, someone posted an article that said Spotify is paying out like 150k-200k per month just for her streams. And yet only a tiny fraction of that ends up with her. Music labels fucking suck.

5·16 days agoI tried to read Mein Kampf in the original Klingon years ago and couldn’t. It is so unbelievably badly written, often completely incoherent. It truly reads like something old Adi would yell at Rudi Hess in the cell in Landsberg and him just writing it down verbatim. I’m surprised there’s no smalltalk in there by accident.

Drawn Together. Disgusting, crazy, great.

I agree. I think that all AI companies need to crash and burn. But it’d be disingenuous to claim that what these models are doing is completely different than what humans are doing. Humans don’t pull stuff out of thin air. We are products of our upbringing and schooling. I say that, because I hate our current copyright laws with a burning passion and have done so long before LLMs showed up. It’s possible to hate copyright and AI companies.
