Definitely heard of both of them. Stumble Guys was pretty popular around when it launched, I didn’t play it though. I remember them doing a lot of YouTube sponsorships. Monopoly Go I only know about because the Google Play Store seems to keep advertising it.
This is what drives people away from the fediverse. I don’t have this problem with any other social media I use (at least not to this degree). Twitter was the closest when I still used it, but even then that was somewhat fixed by just using your following feed and ignoring the algorithm. It’s especially annoying because it’s usually US-centric politics.
If your answer to complaints about Lemmy is “stop using it”, don’t be surprised that it doesn’t gain traction.
I get that. But I just don’t browse lemmy much anymore cause all I see is politics. I specifically went out of my way to not subscribe to political communities. But look at the top posts of !technology@lemmy.world, a community I subscribed to for posts about technology, not politics.

3 of the top 4 are about Trump. They are obviously political, there’s no ambiguity there.
This is especially annoying as someone not from the US.
If you want to sync your notes between devices, Obsidian Sync is $48 a year. But since it’s all just markdown files anyway, you could just use dropbox to sync them anyway.

I love the histogram system from Zachtronics’ games. I find it much more useful to see my score compared to the proportion of people who got a similar score, than a leaderboard rank that doesn’t mean much.

I’m talking about Labo

The bigger size of the console itself would make it incompatible anyway

Hanlon’s razor

This is why metaphors don’t work. Files are not groceries, arguments that apply to one don’t always apply to the other.
Out of curiosity, how old were you in 2001?
Yeah Junferno’s videos are great.
When is he going to upload again though?
Yeah this is the biggest thing that drove me to get diagnosed. I just wasn’t doing anything I enjoyed because I couldn’t get myself to do it. I would just watch YouTube instead. Now when I’m medicated I actually do the stuff that I’m interested in.
App if I use it often, website for everything else. The UI is usually better in the app. Many mobile websites are a pain to use. Plus I have a system-wide ad blocker

The bald eagle bill was one of 50 pieces of legislation that Biden signed into law on Christmas Eve
But you’re worried about this one bill

They’re claiming that they’ll still support it, and this is an “alternative” to Arc browser. But I think I’m just gonna assume that they’re not going to add new features to it anymore. Besides, I just don’t have faith in them anymore after this pivot from out of nowhere that nobody wanted.
I mean, come on, it has to be Minecraft. One of the most influential games of all time. There really is nothing like it

You should check out all the games on that site, they’re very good. There’s even a free mobile app with no ads
I agree that the 30% cut is too much. The only reason I give them a pass is because Steam is really good (at least, as a user). But I still want them to lower it.
