That sounds like a wonderful way to make a splinter bomb or start a fire.

Technology@lemmy.world•Sony’s TV business is being taken over by TCLEnglish
12·10 days agoThen you’re misremembering a lot of stuff
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x900h
This tv came out around the same time as the ps5 (Nov of 2020). A few features came in a later update, but it is 4k/120 out of the box. You couldn’t get a better tv at the time.
The 800 was never advertised as 120, this is the first model.

21·10 days agoI mean the true 120hz, not the upscaled crap.
They came out the same time hdmi got the bandwidth capacity, so before that, it wasn’t even possible.
I partly use Rtings.com for my info, and they test everything.

71·10 days agoWhen 4k/120 TVs came out, their Bravia was the best midrange you could get. Price doubled to get anything better.
I love how they had to crush it to get it to fit, must be for regulars and not king size.
The video literally has someone pushing their bike. Op fucked up.
Shows one pushing their bike home…. Seems like the snow won one actually.

Programming@programming.dev•Experienced software developers assumed AI would save them a chunk of time. But in one experiment, their tasks took 20% longer
31·24 days agoThe article clearly mentioned they weren’t experienced with AI, that’s the new tool.

510·24 days ago“Customizing” is just dumping more data in to it’s context.
Yes, which would fix the incorrect coding issues. It’s not an llm issue, it’s too much data. Or remove the context causing that issue. These require a little legwork and knowledge to make useful. Like anything else.
You really don’t know how these work do you?

514·24 days agoWhat part of customize did you not understand?
And lots fit on personal computers dude, do you even know what different llms there are…?
One for programming doesn’t need all the fluff of books and art, so now it’s a manageable size. Llms are customizable to any degree, use your own data library for the context data even!

611·24 days agoAny new tool or technique will slow ANYONE down until you familiarize yourself and get used to it.
This article mind was say the sky is blue and grass is green, it isn’t news and it’s quite obvious it will take a few uses to get decent with it. Like any other new tool, software, etc.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•Stay under the speed limit, guys. It's not worth it.
1·27 days agoLaws that aren’t enforced can be fought as unfair when enforced. Laws that aren’t held up in a court of law are no longer laws anymore.
Nice little imaginary world you’re living in there.
There’s laws on the books that makes it legal to shoot a thieving Native, do you seriously think you won’t be prosecuted if you do…? Just because a law exists, doesn’t mean it’s still “legal”. It has to be enforced.
Like jeeze know a little law before opening your yap next time.

1·27 days agoAnd speeding isn’t necessarily illegal either. Most cops won’t do anything until to go 15km over the limit.
So as I said, JUST as illegal, since it’s judgement calls in either situation.

2·27 days agoThere’s also speed minimums in most country’s.
And my comment was specially about the highway if you cared to read instead of bloviating about an unrelated situation ;)

21·27 days agoEvery country has similar laws, you understand this yeah? It’s not like America is unique in this lmfao.
There was also more than one point, but of course you would focus on one and try to discredit it, but you failed miserably. You also didn’t even quote the whole thing, which goes on to explain more restrictions that got universally. You’re just a bitter person aren’t you?
Example, the Uk
While there is no specific national minimum speed limit in the UK,
driving too slowly can be illegal if it is deemed to be inconsiderate, dangerous, or causes an obstruction to other road users. Police can penalize drivers for driving without due care and attention,
This is easily googleable, and every country has legislation you can look up. This isn’t that hard of concept to understand, if you cared to look past your own nose.

The replacement wouldn’t be the same dude, that’s the entire issue to being with and why they would never even entertain the idea to begin with. It’s gonna taste different. Full stop.
They know it’s an option, it’s just the worst one. You don’t seriously think you came up with some novel idea they haven’t mulled over before have you?
