GrapheneOS is actually the most bland stock ROM you can find, and it’s amazing for that. Android without Google. Some people complain that banking applications may not work, but it’s highly specific to a country and that bank.

I have no complaint and no problem so far, it’s the best ROM I have ever used.

SUSE started in 1994 according to Wikipedia. At the time, it was one of the only good and stable Linux distribution that you could reliably install anywhere without tweaking configuration files all over the place.

I have worked on TCL TVs in the past. It’s the worst piece of shit I have ever seen. TVs running Linux with the oldest kernels, and the worst scripts to boot this piece of shit. It doesn’t surprise me that they have bad updates.

The worst I have seen: when the display is freezing for a few seconds, it means that the gstreamer pipeline has crashed big time, and the TV is literally rebooting to pretend that “something is happening.”

Also they make TVs for Toshiba and maybe more. Don’t buy Toshiba TVs, it’s Chinese bash scripts behind. Have fun somehow if you get one of those.

Get the cheapest Beelink you can find. I got one and I’m happy. The $150 version may be underpowered for big Steam games, but everything else is fine.

I compress everything from FLAC to Opus, and I have way more content than an iPod. Also the iPod cannot read the Opus format unless you’re prepared to install an alternative OS.
