i never trust that information id rather learn with a book videos or just from websites if i ever use it i always fact check it. never blindly trust a computer

hm yeah but hen you would need to have an i gpu in my case i don’t have one but that would work especially since if you have an i gpu the big gpu is mostly used for offloading
on lemmy are you shure ?
- get your perferred iso
- do a checksum if available (basecally check the signature of the original file with yours, the checksum often is available on the website)
- get beleana etcher or i think rufus can also do linux isos but i’n not shure
- get an usb stick with min 4gb
- flash iso onto usb stick
- stick usb stick into perferred pc
- boot onot that usb stick (for my motherboard it’s F10 but that can be different for you)
- boot into the live iso and the installer should pop up
- read the instructions of the installer carefully
- you are done enjoy your new os
although i would recommend playing around with different distros in a vm to see waht you like and if all your needed software is available
yeah but that needs a second gpu :/
at my work place they strongly discurage working overtime

114·3 years agoguys i have an crazy idea it’s very out there but listen what if we didn’t just put one usb c port on phone but multiple and while were at it we could add some kind of port that allows to carry sound on an standardized port

1·3 years agoyeah my pioneer radio also has a Spotify mode that dosen’t work anymore. i woud not use it anyway. and that’s why i don’t like electronics that need to connect to a server even if it doesn’t need to

7·3 years agoin my 1998 car i just put in an Bluetooth capable radio with good speakers and a subwoofer and nobody can disable anything because it’s not connecting to anything except for a Bluetooth device. i’m never gonna by anything newer just because i can repair this cars myself and i really don’t want the mechanics in my area to fix it because i can’t trust them to fix it and not make it worse


i don’t care if vim is an text editor or ide but i just wanted to ask if they even had debugger back when vim was created ?
