There can’t be single obvious green path for a lot of complex things and most of the things that we do on computers actually are complex like that. I would think that user friendliness is more of an indicator of a sane default behaviour or something that people already are taught to expect. Balancing that is even harder i think.
Now is like 10 years if not more, no?
I think Request Tracker is the closest thing to Jira, whether it’s good or bad is an open question (for me).
Looks like a great feature.
They actually don’t but it is the way programs are installed on gentoo by default.

12·12 days agoCentauri Carbon is the best right now. Bambulab a1 actually has soft cloud requirement (at least in my experiencev they stop printing in offline/lan mode once in a while until you allow it to phone home for a bit), also it’s just worse and has more limitations due to it being bed slinger.
ez, you need computer on the moon

1·17 days agoI’ve tried printing without connecting pins and with them using petg, without connectors it didn’t work for me on bed slinger printer (expected), with pins it works fine (used this technique a few times before and it always worked). I think it’s not material problem per se more of movent problem, on corexy it printed both parts great.

They say it, but it’s a cult so the leader can’t do wrong especially when he has government and media on his side, so nothing will happen.

If we will ever see something like this for cheap ($<50k) it can really get every country to at least partial tech independence.
