mynoise is my favourite noise generator site. every sound across hundreds of different generators is organically sourced by the owner, which sounds hyperbolic but it’s not.
i’m not a woman or a man, i’m a demon.
second attempt at trying the threadiverse.

got a huge popup just now asking me to donate to the lemmy project :///
i’d donate to slrpnk instead but i can barely support myself

yayyy it worked out :)

oh
uh-oh…

and the boondocks comm only works with the extraneous k in it (and me, not being a boondocks knowledger is wondering if there was some reference involving that extra k)

i had a bunch of AI BS disabled from a prior paste into my user.js so i actually got jumpscared with an unlabeled entry in my context menu. i decided to dig into about:config to find anything else under browser.ml. and set to false or blank it out.

personally i’d want a list of hotels to pressure into being put on the military’s ‘hotels to avoid’ list (ETA: specified military)

it’s been very hard for me to focus on, especially with life kicking me in the teeth lately, but for the last 4 years or so i’ve been slowly chipping away at a “sequel” fic to infinity train book 4 that explores weird things that could happen long after you disembark the train. or rather, weird things that could happen almost immediately when min-gi speedruns to the bargaining stage of grief after ryan bleeds out from getting stabbed in a bar fight during a gig and accepts the help of a rogue morgue technician to try and resurrect him.
it’s meant to be “b-grade” horror with some comedy, gay romance (ofc), and high-concept necromantic lore… but in my head it’s mostly ghoul ryan go brrrrr.

KDE marble? it looks like you’d have to download stuff before hand, however.

deserved.
the sliders are just the overall volume for the individual noise tracks. best way to see this in action is going through all the presets on the left. i’ll reinstall the app real quick to remind myself how that works there.
ETA: oh it’s literally a button labeled “presets”. you can also bring up the slider labels with a long hold on the circle, or mouse-over on desktop.
