Assuming you still have a job/income.

Actually the last admin to go after gun rights was Trumps first term where he said, “take the guns first, go through due process second”.

Just for context, she’s actually from a video game the UK government funded about political idealogy - https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/amelia-pathways
It seems like it’s just become a bit of a meme/rallying point for some people in the UK.

She’s actually from a video game the UK government made (pretty sure it was made by the government). In it your not supposed to agree with Amelias political views, but obviously that’s not really a good way to convince people.

Flying 200 drones at the same time is easy, having them do anything useful/effective is hard. Seems more like bluster than anything effective at this point in time, given AI systems aren’t really there yet for precise targeting.

Came here to ask about this. Makes sense that they’d use it to find secondary connections.
Yeah, grandma is into some messed up stuff.

Social security is a very different case, it’s designed to be a safety net, even in its inception. There is no claim or language that indicates it’s anything else.
Police however are prompted up by things like “protect and serve” and a lot of other language/guidance/media to be portrayed as protectors, when that’s not necessarily the case.

I was amazed at how well x64 emulation has gotten on arm. The chip in the Thor should be pretty decent, but definitely expect pain points and worse support than the steamdeck/Linux (on x64).
I haven’t had any game not load for me yet, but performance is inconsistent (especially in 3D games). Something that seems lightweight will be sluggish and other things run surprisingly smoothly.
This site - https://www.emuready.com/ - helped me research to see if I could actually play the games in my backlog.
Edit: Also, most phone chips have shared RAM (if I recall correctly), so higher ram in the device means higher gpu VRAM. So going cheap on ram could impact what games are playable.

If their is high inflation (higher than the CD), then CDs are bad. Your money is locked in and losing real value over time due to the CD rates not being high enough.
Thats why I said it depends on what you are trying to defend against. What’s hard is the economy is teetering between recession->low interest rates and high inflation. It seems like the Fed has gotten inflation under relative control, but bond sell offs would probably trigger rising bond rates (as the US has to make bonds more appealing), which I fear could lead to inflationary pressure in the US. However, given Trump it’s hard to know what he’ll do next so maybe diversification is the only thing to do.

It’s less powerful than a steamdeck, and runs arm, but the Ayn Thor might be what you’re looking for.
With things like Gamenative and Gamehub you can get pretty good windows emulation through box64. I’ve been messing around with it and it works pretty well (played dark souls remastered, BPM, Katana Zero, etc. on an arm handheld).
Edit: I don’t have a Thor, I’ve been messing around with Gamenative on another device.

I still have mine and it’s next to useless, from the start it was kneecapped by its weak processor and windows.
I think I tried to install a Linux OS recently, but the biggest issue is driver support and long boot times.

It depends on how the devaluation occurs. If it’s high inflation, then CDs screw you over in two ways; fixed rates and time locked.

I think the jump rope and volleyball moons in Mario Odyssey were pretty bad. They didn’t really connect to the gameplay and just felt tedious to get.

I mean, trying to start WWIII is probably a bigger deal than anything we could find in the Epstein files. I’m not sure commiting even worse acts counts as a distraction.

Maybe not the worst game, but notable for being somewhat misleading - Mario Is Missing for the SNES.
If you’re not familiar with it, it’s is an educational game where you play as Luigi and walk around random cities asking questions, which is very different from other Mario games of the time.

Except for the 25th you have his cabinet turning on him first, and that’s a big deal. If his cabinet doesn’t have faith in him, I would suspect that the house and senate would see that as a big deal.

I like you’re assumption that’s not already happening. Trump doesn’t have the capacity to orchestrate what’s currently going on, there is definitely multiple people using him for their own interests.
The alarming element is that a judge had already rejected the charges - source
As has been seen repeatedly with this administration, they will keep harping on the DOJ to do illegal things, like with the Comey case where they illegally installed an AG cause everyone else wasn’t willing to touch the case.
