Recently bought a DAP (Digital Audio Player) and started downloading to distance myself from Spotify’s increasingly intrusive push of AI-riddled music and podcasts. Large commercial artists are torrented, while smaller bands’ music off of bandcamp and qobuz.

I still have my Spotify account to reference songs that I’ve bookmarked, but since I ended my subscription I no longer use it frequently enough to discover new music as I detest ads. Now I discover new music throughs combination of falling down youtube rabbit holes, and browsing various lemmy communities, /c/eternalplaylist@crazypeople.online (I forget how to link communities. I’m also considering checking out last.fm and other music services like that.

Another +1 for Arctic.

I was using Mlem and Voyager before, but when I tried Arctic out I really enjoyed how it played well with video posts (excluding youtube, they just load and you can view them without navigating away) whereas the others would open the link through the in app browser.

Edit: Mlem just got an update/overhaul so it may be worth checking out as well.

I don’t think it’d be confusing if they either never show his face, or only show his face as heavily disfigured.

I did worry about his voice though, as RDJ has a pretty distinct accent and way of speaking, but then I reasoned that he’s a good enough actor to put on an accent, and that Latveria, being a fictional country, could justify a strange accent and mask his speech, no pun intended.

Two of em were, but the middle two I hadn’t ever seen before, so thanks for sharing! :)

“Cel” stands for celluloid, which was used and painted on for classic animation (which popularized the simple flat color painting style that you see imitated in modern cel-shading).

Do we have any concrete evidence that he’s even telling the truth? Something other than a tweet on a platform he owns? He seems to lie often.

Yeah - I’m currently playing solo so I can progress at my own pace.

I bought it about 6 hours ago and am only taking a break cuz I was hungry and needed to use the restroom. Then I’ll probably play some more until I get too sleepy.

I’m having a blast with the game. It feels like a mix between Pokémon and Valheim.

No real bugs encountered so far. The only bug I’ve experienced since I’ve started playing is that respawning at my base places me inside some vertical terrain, and that’s partially my fault for needing to place objects so close to the walls that they’re practically clipping.

When browsing comments on Lemmy, I would see what looked to be top-level comments that were clearly replies to another comment, but the comment it was responding to wouldn’t be displayed. After this kept happening, I decided to try viewing the thread through another app (i may have been using an account from another lemmy instance, which I’m guessing may be pertinent) and then I would be able to see the actual top-level comment that was being responded to.
