3·4 months agoHumidity. Wet filament is notorious for failed prints. There are ways and devices to dry filament again, but it’s just better to keep it dry from the beginning!

Linux@lemmy.ml•Can I setup Linux on a VM and then swap to that setup permanently if it works well for me?
2·1 year agoThere’s not really a simple way to make a VM setup permanent. You could try it out in a VM, and then use a backup tool to save your home directory and system configuration to transfer your settings to a “real” hard drive installation.
Same for me, I found it on proshop, they ship to my country. I think the 2c has gotten an update, maybe you can find that one!
I’m a big fan of my 8bitdo gamepads. They have 2.4ghz USB ones that work really well on Linux (steam deck or desktop).
I have the Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller
And I paid about 25€ for it. My other main gamepad is an old google stadia controller which also works really well.

3·1 year agoWhatever works for you. I’m fine with building myself, but an apk release would be more accessible.
You could even link it with the STL so people could find it as a complete package!

3·2 years agoHow good is the touch screen support in these two? I’m running a convertible for note taking, and I kinda depend on Gnomes pretty decent gesture support.
Is the dog happy? They look kinda distressed, difficult to make out though.
Wir benutzen diese Geste nicht mehr. 😉

Thank you, we definitely had lots of fun with it 😁
