5·2 years agoThis one sucks for me. I’ve been a big fan of his on the radio broadcast. It’s hard to replace Jerry Howarth, but he did a really good job in my opinion. They treated him like shit the whole time he was there. Another clear L for Rogers.
Also apologies to everyone around here. I took our early playoff exit hard, so I couldn’t bring myself to post/comment here like I wanted to during the rest of the playoffs. I’m back now for good, and the game-day bots are turned off until spring. Relying on our community to keep this place alive until baseball returns next season!
I once had a girl straight up say, “I’d do you”, to which I stumbled and mumbled out nothing much in reply. I don’t think I realized until about 5 years later I could have had sex that day :(
This has been a tough day for me as a Jays fan and mod. My thought for now about the now daily off-day threads is they can serve as discussion posts for the other games until the end of the postseason(once we’ve all had a chance to grieve our lost season). Thank you to EVERYONE who contributed to this community this year. It was a painful end to a frustrating season, but I just want to thank everyone who’s been a part of this community with me. I will be here all off-season making the occasional post about our off-season moves, and blindly exclaiming next year is our year. Here’s to a better 2024! I hope to see you all here!

If anyone has been living under a rock, here’s the reference.
Not the way we wanted it to happen, but who cares now?? We’re in! Gausman gets to start WC Gm.1, we can rest up the bullpen from a heavy use day yesterday. It’ll be interesting if they bring up Francis and/or Pearson to soak up some innings today. We’re still technically playing for seeding, but we probably prefer to play the Twins anyways if we lose today.
