A person has legs and can walk. A dead body has legs and cannot walk. Therefore legs are not necessary in order to walk?
No, legs are just not sufficient you also need to be alive and some other things.


I mean the good thing about a flat projection is that you can see everything at once. When you’re comparing data points of different countries it is nice to see them on a flat map. Neither the actual size nor the angles really matter in that case.
