Nooo, thats a couple of mW, no way. Maybe its a typo and you neant daily with a bit more than 10W power, even that is fairly low. The last time I measured ours it was about 30W average… (also europe, about 10yo)

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•I got this popup ad on my TV **while watching a DVD**English
1·2 years agoIn the low end market (sub 500eur) they are mostly android tv, so not dumb. For this reason i own an old wxga nec projector. It can do 720p, is very bright, costs about 50eur used, replacement bulbs cheap on aliexpress. It gets hot though. I pair it with 5.1 audio and rooted android tv box and the wife fully approves this :)

News@lemmy.world•The Clarence Thomas Scandal Is Somehow Looking Even Worse
3·2 years agoIts first time for me hearing about the ts clereance, but seems to me its doing its job. If it was used the way you describe it, I am sure it would fast become the victim of Goodharts law and thus become useless.

5·2 years agoI did setup auto redirect on firefox to invidious (yewtu.be) and it works well enough. I will just change redirect when it stops working. No need to be perfectionslist, just make it seamless and voila, no ads or recomendations :)
Somebody must have already… anyone did any googling?

Memes@lemmy.ml•If you only criticize civilian casualties when Palestine resists, then your concern isn't civilian casualties. Your concern is Palestine resisting massacre.
12·2 years agoI love conflicted podcast. Condensed: fuck organizers of these attacks (likely iran) just before historic peace treaties in the region. They knew fully well what would the response be.
This is ok though, going once per 14days for that 90% of stuff and having your car for that is ok. Otherwise if you run out of something, hop to your nearest store. Also here some of my friends and family are not reachable via public transport so I use car for that. But dont use it for commute every day, going to the beach/mountains every weekend, going to the store every other day, taking kids to school and back etc. For many this is completely doable but people are lazy
