I have gotten 2 of my jobs with the answer that I could give them a lot of fancieful answers but the truth is that I would be good at the job and that they were offering pay at a level I was happy with. It probably depends on the job you are applying for but sometimes being honest a d straight forward helps

Made the same move myself. Honestly was expecting it to be much more effort than it was. Happy with how everything has gone so far.

For me it usually about timeliness (I don’t know if that’s a word but it makes sense to me) and if our drinks a nearing empty they ask if we would like another rather than having to spend five mins trying to flag some one done.

Simply doing the job quickly and professionally which for me makes my meal a little bit better. Also this is much more achievable for the staff if the restaurant has enough staff.
