Maybe, but eitherway active users is the real metric that matters. Stale accounts dont mean anything.

Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•PSA: You can hide read posts
2·3 years agoYes, you have to read the OP to mark it as read. After read, with new comments, post will remain as read. There is no way for that at the moment, but I think this is great idea!

Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•For those trying to kick the Reddit habit
16·3 years agoThere is a setting that you can disable “Show Read Posts”. This way you will only see new things :)
I couldn’t find any information regarding automatic accounts deletion, so I doubt that it is that. Maybe there was some bot spam account creation that later was manually fixed by deleting those users?
Great blog! I’m optimistic and really agree that it does not take that much to make this place run just fine. Even if just a fraction of people will migrate, it’s okay. All we need is just a handful of people and all will be fine.

Technology@beehaw.org•Space junk is causing clutter around the Earth, but a small cube could help cut back on trashEnglish
2·3 years agoOh, so this is not about removing existing space garbage, but just adding less of new 😅 Thanks for clarification!
Good points!
I’m interested in how many active villages we will get in Lemmy ecosystem.

2·3 years agoI found this a bit confusing. Did I understood this correctly that this would be attached to satellites and it would collect metal garbage and convert it into fuel for the satellite to de-orbit?
What’s weird is that I never used Reddit as much as I use Lemmy over last few days 😅
I wish I used DuckDuckGo more, but lately Google has been the default…
