You mean “experts” who have even the slightest understanding of how software works?

But if they do that, 99% of people will select “show posts from the accounts I follow in chronological order” and where will the poor billionaires be then?

“We’re selling a game. You treat it like an investment when we just want more people to play. Please, accept our invitation to go fuck yourselves.”

Saag aloo. Potatoes, greens, tomato, and spices. Takes some prep (boil the potatoes, cool, cut into smaller pieces, and fry) but it’s worth it.
It looks like there was some weird drama around her but I couldn’t find any details other than some vague claims about death threats.

Measles will destroy your existing immunities so it’s definitely not vaccination.
Cheaper than the Makhno look with the $900 pants.

Straight up mafia tactics.

I am again calling for a “DUUUUHHHH” community for news articles reporting widely known facts.

Nah, just print out a photo of some horrific skin condition and put it right in front of the camera.
It is the duty of all citizens to deny Ted Cruz and all his fellow spineless fascist enablers a moment’s peace. They should hear nothing but insults and experience nothing but deep scorn.
One of the many calls of the void I experience frequently.

If no one buys these shoes that fall apart after breaking their toes, the growth of the Shoes-That-Injure-The-Wearer industry could really take a hit!

Really needs to be a “DUUUUHHHH” community for stories like this.
Also, bodycams were always a cop wishlist item. They control the footage, does anyone think if ICE had bodycams there would be transparency? Of course not, there would be a ton of “malfunctioning” bodycams when they did some shit, and in any case where a civilian showed even a hint of resistance or that they might fight back, the footage would be used to bury them.
Imagine if 90% of the time, Spotify would only play an album if you asked to play it twice, unless it was an album in the billboard top ten, and sometimes it would decide to not play an album at all, and it had made deals with every record company that made physical media versions of albums cost $5,000. That’s what health insurance is like.

Except there are zero contracts in place to actually build those data centers, nor is there enough power generated to run them. I really wish tech journalists would do the background to determine if what these documented liars are saying is even possible, never mind likely.

Thank you, Threads is a garbage pit.
I feel like there is a genuine concern to be addressed there. Let’s say we have a massive shift in the country and abolish all police at every level. What stops a bunch of now-unemployed militarized bureaucrats from just becoming petty tyrants over small fiefdoms across the country?
