No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Is there a way to subscribe to all communities with the same name?
4·3 years agoWhen you search for magazines on kbin, it does have the option to subscribe/unsubscribe in the search results.

Reddit Migration@kbin.social•While larger, more general communities are thriving on the Fediverse - I'm missing out on the niche communities
1·3 years agoI noticed there didn’t exist a niche community that I’m passionate about so… I created it! It’s like any other new platform, it just takes time.

Aw, bummer. Hopefully you can recover anything they stole and can get it sorted properly though!

3·3 years agoPicked up FF16 so I’ll be playing through that, hanging out at the [small] local coffee shop we do every Saturday and celebrating one of the patron’s birthday’s, and doing a final walkthrough on a house we just closed on. Exciting things!

Gaming@beehaw.org•What's your favorite car game? Arcade and sim, I just want to know!
6·3 years ago@VioletteRei I really like jumping into Wreckfest from time to time just because it makes me think of the fun old Destruction Derby games on PS1/2 and it’s fun to mess around in with friends.

Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•I love how thoughtful everything feels on lemmy
2·3 years agoYeah that would be my guess too. Seems an early stage for this technology but it’s really neat, I look forward to it maturing and the devs are doing an amazing job already.

Lemmy.World Announcements@lemmy.world•I love how thoughtful everything feels on lemmy
2·3 years agoOh cool. Any thoughts why people posting from other instances shows up to us but those of us on kbin who comment, our posts don’t show up on the original instance thread?

4·3 years agoI’m also curious about this. I have several posts that are upvoted but one that’s downvoted and my reputation is negative from that one post :/
Also curious, going to this discussion on lemmy doesn’t show kbin replies…

Technology@beehaw.org•Following a Lemmy community from Mastodon
0·3 years agoA lot of communities from other instances either show 404 or are empty when browsing to them from kbin but on the other instance, they have content. Is this just technical issues while everything gets ramped up and connected?
It was pretty underwhelming. I think ultimately it’s, unfortunately, pointless. Spez gonna spez and him and other people monetarily invested in reddit will get theirs–they’ll cash in on the IPO and walk after that being richer than before. Whether they stick around to try to improve the platform or not is anyone’s guess but… at least there are lots of us who likely won’t go back to reddit like we used to. I like this place a lot so far!

@JustEnoughDucks
Yeah I’ve noticed that here in the US for produce mostly. We do get locally produced goods and things though where I go which is great, but I couldn’t help but notice produce mostly seems bought, and I live in a place pretty good for growing year round :(
