protests give people permission and reduce the social anxiety to speak out when they see the numbers in them. Its a lot easier to speak up at your workplace about events when theres a massive protest walking past your place of business

protests can beget direct action and shouldn’t be criticized when they do. 50501 has been coordinating ice watches and observations that put all the cameras there when violence occurs.
