Oh, this is new. I thought pineapple with chicken or fish. Didn’t about pineapple with pepperoni. Might need to try that
She/Her
If you care It’s Agender Woman. As in I don’t believe I have any gender but I prefer to present as feminine and use feminine pronoun.

Sell my ass to China. Like, absolutely spread my cheek so the CCP can plow all the natural and human resources of my country in exchange for military hardware and training.
The thing is, the equipment and military is secondary. What I actually want is to tie myself diplomatically to the CCP. And hopefully the economic impact and good diplomatic relationship will push the Chinese government to intervene or at least indirectly support my country in case of war.
Worst case scenario I can be a PITA to invade. Best case scenario, Chinese trade sanctions, and military support force the invader to back off.
I’m choosing China over anyone else because of the potential impact of trade sanctions make them the best candidate. France or USA are also good options

Bon pour le vin, les code c’est beaucoup de blah blah prétentieux.
Parcontre. Si tu mets un vin doux (sucré) avec un poisson, on ne va pas s’entendre. C’est juste pas bon.

It doesn’t because you run out of security updates after 5 to 6 years. Which I hate. But nowadays switching to android alternatives is an option once a phone is no longer supported.
Or Apple which is surprisingly good in that department, my sister’s iphone 11 is still receiving updates.

So basically it’s the opposite of what the navy need. The navy has needed a cheaper more numerous hull to complement the Burke class. Something that they have failed with the LCS program and the recently canceled Constellation.
The Trump class is so large they might have to be built into the same dockyard as carriers. I don’t know if Bath iron works can accommodate ships that large. So it would have to be Newport News Shipbuilding or Ingalls Shipbuilding, both of which are already very busy.
It also means that the dockyard for smaller ships still don’t have any work and some of them could eventually shutdown from bankruptcy, further reducing the number of dockyard and production facilities for the navy.
Edit: I am also going to add, since we have the design for the FF(X) ship that is going to replace the cancelled Constellation class. The FF(X) if it’s built as planned is significantly worse than Constellation and will not fill the role that the navy needs. But it’s probably a nice bit of money for Ingalls Industries.

Okay I am adding my nerding time. The Ship seems to be modeled after USS Oriskany with SCB-27/SCB-125A refit.

I really hope it’ll live up to the wait.
Also does it mean we will have a few mission as a WSO? That’d be interesting

Ah yes. This surely will have no long term consequences.
Yeah probably. I still drive a 35 yo Peugeot, and it’s aging decently well for a 1500€ beater.
But winters in France are mild. Colder area might give issues to the chassis with rust.
It’s sad. Peugeot used to make decent cars. But they have really not done well since dropping diesel.

Yeah except right now the biggest issue the Bundeswehr faces is equipment and troop readiness. A report came around 2022 and made noise. After a short exercise 18 modern Puma IVF had been out of action for lack of spare parts on relatively minor issues. And that was on the 10th Panzer division which was earmarked for deployment in Lithuania, not a low priority unit.
More bodies are nice for an army. But those come after the infrastructure has been fixed for what already exist

The cruiser gap as an example. Was never real, it only existed because of the US Navy classification system of time.
The US Navy would call ships frigate or destroyer leader when they had the size and capabilities of a cruiser in the Soviet navy. The 1975 Ship reclassification cleared it up and also made organization much easier than the dozens of confusing hull designation.

If you have an article or maybe remember more details about that story?
The closest I could find is this.
Ukraine doesn’t really operate western helicopter in general so the story may have been about something else. We have reports of the Russian using captured American armor vehicles. So no kill switch in those.

I mean, something like Lynx is probably as private as you get. Might be lacking a few features like, anything graphical. Still relatively usable imo
Okay but that is just plain wrong. While it was an international coalition and not just the US, the 1st Gulf War was a victory.
You can contest that the invasion of Afghanistan and the 2nd Gulf War were victories. both ended up in conterpartisant operation for years.
Also even if we talk about USA only operation. The invasion of Panama was a success, removing Noriega and installing a pro US regime. And so was the invasion of Granada.
