I feel this, I’ve tried to get cis people to go to protests and mobilize for trans rights for years, and crickets, but they manage monthly marches and even a general strike (in my country) for Palestine since Oct '23. People usually have the capacity to organize, they just don’t think most issues are worth it.

But instead we have the old guard dems refusing to step down, Schumer saying that it’s okay to budge to fascists, actually, and McBride claiming that not accepting anti-trans stances in the party would hurt it. It looks like current Dems want to be enablers to fascists. The ones that don’t, most notably Sanders and AOC, are currently doing their own thing and seem to have split off in all but name.

As someone who writes GPU code for work, the nvidia stock going down makes me happy. We still need a true open source alternative to CUDA, but in the meantime, them losing value is better than the alternative.
