Tencent is huge as well. Though only around 50% of their revenue is from gaming.

Funny thing is, if they decided policy this way I’d guess it’d be more representative than the House of Representatives for California.

3·2 months agoThere are discord-matrix bridges the last I checked, but I never got around to actually setting one up so not sure how difficult that would be. Also not sure what limitations there are.
Well here’s the thing. Rich people are kinda dumb.

2·5 months agoEh, for desktop I’d say we’re just about there now. For people who don’t use their computers for much more than gaming and web browsing Bazzite works pretty great. Helped a friend who doesn’t do much more than that build a PC and install an OS and they seem to be doing fine with it, no complaints so far.
I mean in general, “read things -> learn” is a good approach to life imo.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•how do i stop being so obsessed with a fictional character?
1·6 months agoI watched this video essay on this topic not too long ago that I really enjoyed (one of the best video essays I’ve seen so far imo) that I think you might find really helpful and insightful as well! If you end up watching it, let me know what you think: https://youtu.be/4d0Q64SQujY
So in other words, gamers are rising up?
Yes, exactly. Its killing problem solving ability and learning. Taking the extra time to search around and figure things out helps you learn. Not to mention its poisoning its own well, making legitimate answers harder and harder to find on the web.

Good to see a caring take about BPD out in the wild 🙂 People see it at some evil, terrible thing, but with therapy its gone into remission for me and is quite a lot more manageable! Yea, having that loving community around you makes a huge difference in quality of life. Takes some time and effort to build and find the right people, but boy is it worth it.

Kinda just DARVO, isn’t it?
