What I really want is to know what the “real” price is. Not the 12 month promo price. What’s it gonna cost me when the price goes up? That should be required to be alongside the promo price.

One time payments would be great, but the devs make a lot more from subscriptions. You don’t see services like Netflix or Hulu offering one time payments options. As a consumer, I love it, but the devs might not be able to sustain the app from that model. I’d be interested if you have any other ideas though.

Infinity won’t let me log in. So far I’m really liking Sync. And I’m completely fine with a subscription at it’s current price. I’m happy to support devs. 8 don’t like working for free. Not sure why they should have to. And so it’s either ads or subscriptions. Pick your poison.

I have found the reddit bots a bit annoying. Not to say I don’t want to ever see a reddit link on lemmy, but the communities that are essentially a clone of a subreddit seems kind of pointless. I might as well have stayed on reddit then. So I would love to see those bots go away, or get moved into their own community. But overall, I agree that we should cut down on bit posts. I’d rather see discussion rather than dumps of links.

I’m really enjoying the opportunity to experience this new platform in it’s early stages. I just hope it keeps growing!

Dang. Am I the only one that uses Craftsman? It’s more affordable and the performance has been adequate for me.

Clicking the notifications seems to just open Connect. I just get taken to my home page, but at least it’s a notification. It’s something!

The Zenfone seems to make a pretty nice compact phone. I’ve been tempted to get one but I got hooked on Pixels.

That’s why I avoid apple products. I don’t want to get sucked into an ecosystem where my choice of what product to buy is so limited.

Thanks! I never looked into organizations. And now that I’m looking through more features, I learned how to use the Send feature. That’s pretty cool and is a good way to share sensitive info with people even if they don’t have bitwarden.

I can’t imagine not having a password manager. I even got my mom to switch to bitwarden. I’m not sure if I just don’t know how to do it, but the only thing I wish I could do with bitwarden is share a password with another bitwarden user.
