My wife and I bought those stupid Surface tablets. Not really sure why. Too big to be comfortably portable, too small to be useful at home. At least the magnetic keyboard thing makes a good mousepad for my desktop PC.
I’m a genX dude, living in a genZ world. I love everyone. Be gay, be trans, be whatever. I love everyone until an individual proves they don’t deserve it. I don’t hate anyone based on groups, I hate people who are assholes.

People generally date people who live somewhat close to them (I know, LDRs exist).
People generally shop in stores that are somewhat close to them.
I’m smelling coincidence.
I like to grocery shop on Tuesday mornings, since that’s double coupon day at my local grocer. I give my neighbor a ride to the store, so we can use her 5% senior discount and save even more money.
I see the same people at the store every week, because they shop on the same day I do, at the same time I do. We smile and wave, sometimes we chit chat about current events, or small talk like “Man, the weather’s crazy this week”, or “How did your son’s baseball game go?”.
I am not stalking them, they are not stalking me. We just patronize the the same store at the same time as each other.
If you think you’re being stalked, randomly change up your routine. Let’s say you normally go shopping on Saturday afternoons. Go on a Thursday morning. If you still keep running into them, maybe you’re onto something. If not, enjoy your new ex-gf free shopping experience.

13 people live in my house full time. If I didn’t meal prep, I would never be able to leave the kitchen.
We always have “egg McBluffins” in the freezer, just pop em in the microwave for a minute or so (99 seconds if you’re doing 2 at once) and you’ve got breakfast sorted. I make large batches of pulled pork, or shredded beef, and I freeze individual portions in vac seal bags. Pop some in the nuker, and you’re ready to make a sandwich, burrito, taco, whatever. I currently have 40 servings of chili in the freezer, along with 40 servings of Italian Wedding soup. I also make ham and bean soup in big batches to freeze, but we’re currently out of that. I’ve got beef stew coming up in the rotation, we’ll eat about half of it the first night, and freeze the rest in portion sized containers. Pickled eggs (the pink ones, with the beet juice) are a huge hit with my family, and I raise chickens, so we’re never short on eggs. I don’t know an exact number, but I’d say I have somewhere between 80 and 100 pickled eggs in my house right now. 2-3 of those is a nice high protein snack that you can just grab and go. Last time I harvested one of my goats, I cooked the entire thing in a pit I dug in my yard, then shredded the meat for a delicious birria inspired dish. I also like to make huge batches of Bolognese sauce and freeze it in reasonable portions, so that I just have to boil up some pasta, and that’s dinner.
I don’t just “do” meal prep, I live meal prep.
Mainly because she’s not exactly a celebrity anymore, so people don’t spend a lot of time talking/reading about her. But also because a woman getting raped in 1982 isn’t exactly “Breaking News”. There are a lot of old articles about it, but who is looking up news from 30-40 years ago? There was some chatter about it when her rapist was convicted of raping two other women in 2006, and again when her house was broken into and she was attacked in 2016.
The craziest part is that according a post she made on Facebook, she was also gang raped at age 12. She’s had a very rough life.
Kelly McGillis, she was in Top Gun with Tom Cruise.

His balls aren’t hollow.

Don’t talk about your mental health with an AI seems like pretty basic common sense to me
And as we all know, people in the middle of a mental health crisis always act logically and make good decisions.

Newborns don’t have good stores of vitamin K. The placenta does not give an infant a lot of vitamin K because it can affect bone growth and development. So it needs to be supplemented after delivery. Babies only drink milk, and if they drink breast milk or formula, neither has good supplemental vitamin K.
Adults also can’t get enough vitamin K from milk. Adults get vitamin K by eating foods that are rich in it, like green leafy vegetables, blueberries or kiwis. Besides finding it in foods, adults also get vitamin K from helpful gut germs (i.e., bacteria) that aid in digestion and gut health. The intestines of babies lack those bacteria because they are still growing. For these reasons, we need to give it to them.

The other human beat me to the punch, but I would strongly suggest you check out the Townsends video series on it. Dude made 4 entire videos about the stuff. It’s a very deep dive. Like, so deep you get the bends if you come to the surface too quickly. I love Tasting History, but when it comes to pemmican specifically, the Townsends did it better.

It’s a server I created for my Guild Wars 2 guild. Most of us have been playing the game for 10+ years, so when I started the server, we already had a small pool of members built in. My guild grew to the point that we needed to make a second guild, since we hit the player limit ingame. Then we needed to make another guild for the same reason, and so on. I currently control 8 guilds ingame, between my two main accounts (each account can be in a total of 6 guilds, so I have to switch to my alt account to run the other two guilds).
We are mainly focused on training new players on how to succeed in Raid encouters, Dungeons, and other PVE content. So we get a lot of new people joining the guild/server to learn. We don’t require people to join our guild to play with us or join our discord server, sometimes we run with PUGs (MMORPG speak for strangers) in our Raid party, and when we do we send them the link to join our server, since voice chat makes it easier to communicate quickly. Once they’re a member of the server, they usually stay, though some leave the server once we are done with the Raid.
I also get approached by new-ish players ingame, because they see the guild tag above my head and know our reputation for helping newbies. So I invite them to the server/guild if they want some guidance.
We started out with 34 people, and as of last night, we have 616 members. We’ve had a few people leave, and I’ve had to ban a few people for behavioral issues (we do not tolerate any -ism or -phobia in our space). But we’ve grown a lot, and built a positive and supportive community along the way. We’ve even had a few IRL meetups for folks who are able to attend. The last one was in Vegas, and 41 people showed up. We had a blast.

Discord. I know there are some valid criticisms of the company, but it’s hard to convince 600+ people to all switch to a different platform, and I don’t want to fracture a community I’ve spent the better part of a decade building.

I can be in a voice chat and instantly communicate with people from all around the world. Last night I was playing a video game with a dude from India, a lady from Australia, a guy from South Korea, and several Americans from different states. And we could all talk to each other in real time.
Kings of old could not even imagine such a thing.

The only time I ever touch cash is when I buy weed, since the dispensary isn’t allowed to accept card payments. They have an ATM inside though, so I take the cash out of the ATM, and bring it to the counter. It spends maybe 2 minutes in my possession.

Every breath you take is the prime example ofc
That’s actually a terrible example. OP asked what song deserves a stalker version. That song is already the stalker version.

Looking at the second pic, a Bar S hot dog is ~20mm in diameter, and that fish appears to be about 5 hot dog sections long, so I’d say it’s like 90-110mm long so roughly 4 inches in Imperial.

Pemmican is heavily slept on. But in reality, it’s healthy and delicious.

We haven’t had deaths on the scale of WWI or the Spanish Flu since those events.
WWII had 3-5 times the number of deaths (depending on whose numbers you trust) as WWI though? Like, it’s not even close. Even using the highest estimate for WWI (22 million) and the lowest estimate for WWII (70 million) WWII was more than triple the deaths.
The global population at the time of WWI was ~1.8 billion, and at the time of WWII is was 2.3 billion.
So in terms of of percent of the world population, WWI loses.
I will concede that the Spanish flu was a lot worse than COVID.

Wasn’t that literally the purpose of grog? A mixture of beer and water used on ships to kill harmful bacteria that would grow in the ships’ water stores over a long voyage?
Grog was a mixture of rum, water, and lime juice. Beer does not have enough of an alcohol content to have any antibacterial impact. Your basic premise is flawed.
The main reasons grog was invented were twofold, first and foremost, it diluted the alcohol to manage the sailors’ intoxication levels (much like drinking a rum and Coke does today). Secondly, the addition of lime juice helped fight off scurvy (leading to British sailors being called “limeys”).
While it did improve the flavor of stale water, the disinfecting properties have been greatly exaggerated over time.

We essentially had a plague in 2020, and there are multiple wars going on as we speak. Those factors didn’t disappear.
One of my gaming buddies is in Thailand, but plays on the American server with us. His ping is regularly 2000-3000ms. When he hits a button, he doesn’t actually “do the thing” for 2-3 seconds. But dude is a fucking genius, and he’s mastered the timing. He regularly outperforms folks with a 28ms ping (It’s me, I’m “folks”).
