Technology@beehaw.org•I don't think "command line hard" is the worst part of self-hosting.English
14·3 years agoIt’s not the command line that’s hard but the lack of proper documentation and tutorials that makes things hard.
I like it. Still wish they would remove the camera bump.
Her eyes are all over the place (at least her right eye)
My favourite headphones are the Sennheiser HDR185 because they are almost the only wireless, over ear, open back headphones I could find that sound good.
I have also seen the whole post changing to a different one suddenly while the commentd stayed the same (of the post I opened)

Technology@beehaw.org•YouTube tests blocking videos unless you disable ad blockersEnglish
8·3 years agoWhat I find most annoying is that it’s still not possible to get Premium Lite (Premium without music, offline and background play) because I already have Spotify and don’t really need background and offline play. 12 EUR/month is a steep price for just removing ads.

2·3 years agoI didn’t know that you also get higher bitrate with premium. That might change things for me. Most of the time I watch YouTube on a desktop where I can use uBlock but when I watch on my iPad the ads get really annoying and I have already thought about getting premium just to get rid of the ads while watching videos during breakfast. Having higher bitrate would be a nice bonus.

Jerboa@lemmy.ml•Feature request: switch behavior for tap and long press on comments.English
3·3 years agoYes please. In Sync it was the same as you describe. Long press collapsed the comment and tap brought up the action bar.
Yes, please! I was wondering what was up with that. I started to question myself if it has been like that all the time.

I think as long as you implement features as options it shouldn’t be a problem.
