Nothing phones suck. No spare parts available to buy and support sucks. I purchased a nothing phone and my camera cracked, that’s when you realize the device cannot be serviced locally AT ALL. You will have to ship off the device OUT OF THE COUNTRY waiting months. I wanted to replace the camera myself but you just can’t. I just gave up and bought a SOMETHING phone.

On top of that the features were gimmicky at best and poorly implemented. API for extra lights and stuff is severely lacking. I wasted a lot of time trying to customize this thing but it’s not possible. Just a bunch of useless presets.

Now I’m stuck on this stupid Motorola now. It’s okay but can’t set a folder for wallpapers and there’s no way to replace the wallpaper app. My next phone is going to be graphene based.

Everything about this screams honeypot. They are lying about push notifications. All push notification tokens can be linked to a device. iOS makes it easier to conceal malicious code. It’s more steps to obtain the application for third party decompilation and analysis. Apple is playing nice with the current treasonous administration. As long as the secret court and gag orders apply you can never trust a single company to protect your information. That’s why open source releases of Android and other OS are a better option. Because you can’t attack the people running it directly. Still don’t run any variant of ice block. We need another version. Web based if possible that can be accessed with VPN.

As someone who’s around Memphis often, we are having major pollution issues from these generators. There have been several days we have had terrible smog issues lately. Nobody here wants these generators around. They were installed despite fierce opposition from the locals. It’s absolutely horrible.

I’m not sure what the intended effect of this statement is… But what I can tell you, is that bringing firearms to Florida protest seems to be mandatory. The police should be shot on sight during an escalation. Because if you don’t, they are gonna use any excuse to do the same to us. The rule of law only works if we can all agree to not murder each other.

What the heck are you talking about? Chromium is one of the hardest packages to build and it takes forever. Firefox has FAR fewer dependencies. Chromium’s privacy enhancements are a joke.

Telegram and signal are both central points of failure. Signal can be used with other servers, but the server address is hard coded in the app, so you have to deploy your own app. Matrix servers can keep a channel going even if the channel’s home server goes down. The more home servers there are, the more mirrors of public channels there will be.

I love gdb! I recently had to do a debug and wow its so cool! On gentoo I can compile everything with symbols and source and can do a complete stack trace.

As a developer the cool thing about Gentoo is you can have a full debugging stack. You can compile every single library and program on the system with debugging symbols and source and you can trace an issue all the way through. It’s really not possible to do on other distros. Having learned a bit more about gdb when debugging, it is really cool.
