As others have said they can frequently look like young girls, but in my limited experience the ones that are leaning into the sexual aspect in any way are obviously adult models, and the ones that look younger are more silly and goofy

The infrastructure is huge. I drive for Uber during the big ice storm in Texas several years ago around the airports, and every northerner I had in my car commented on how the roads seemed substantially more dangerous than they ever felt in their home states, because of the inadequate plows or salt trucks.

On one hand, I do generally appreciate posts like the OP drawing connections between historical events, not only is it interesting to learn about but it’s useful to examine for the future.

On the other hand, it really, REALLY feels like it’s just kinda being done as hate America porn. There’s a lot of atrocities in American history, but we’re not uniquely bad, we’re not the only country that’s done bad shit, and we’re certainly not the reason Nazis were bad. Maybe I’m being a little sensitive, but so much of it is hyper focused on the US and almost no mention of the other inspirations like you gave

In this specific case it’s not just blind celebrity worship, he has solid experience pressuring legislators into doing the right things like with helping 9/11 firefighters, he’s generally on the correct side of most issues that affect the working class, and is a very good rhetorician (acknowledging that his show has other writers as well) to give speeches and communicate to the populace.

Musk could actually go completely destitute and have nothing and people/banks would just fucking give him money so he’d be rich again. Maybe not a billion but certainly many millions.
