lazy_static was the standard way as far as I’m concerned until this month. OnceCell or OnceLock should fill this role now.

1·3 years agoI would guess that, since their livelihoods aren’t on the line, mods would be far less likely to buckle than typical workers - if they can get organized in the first place.
To be as clear as possible - the minimum wage for tipped staff is $2.13/hr. That’s why you have to tip.
