I never end up being able to handle cannibalism in games. I think hearing about the Donner Party really put me off from it, even if they’re as close as you can get to “Moral Cannibalism”

I’m starting to discover that lol. It really makes things more manageable even if it is slower. It’s a shame, i’ve really started trying to “save” everyone i come across since they always seem to be in some sort of Mortal peril

Fair enough, some people don’t care for shooters in general and some people don’t care for how Slow paced Halo can feel, especially the first 5 games which don’t have a dedicated sprint. I will keep having fun though, thank you!

Yeah. I’m extremely lucky the only thing that really got negatively impacted by it was my grades. I’m also lucky it only lasted about a month or two. I’ve seen people come out of things like that way worse for wear

Zomboid, for me personally, is one of the most immersive games. It’s a life sim with such in depth mechanics i feel like my character is an actual person growing

That’s basically how i’d summarize it. I like the Combat, it’s far easier than Hades though, as it feels far less focused on repeat loops. I have died maybe a total of twice, and i’m someone that doesn’t really touch Roguelikes

I was considering 100%ing it, at least as far as Steam Achievements are concerned. I find they’re a good metric to measure whether you’ve explored all the interesting sides of a game, at least when they’re done right. I saw though the DLC achievements are bundled in with the main game. It’s trivial but it has kind of put me off 100%, at least until i get the DLC that is

It may have been a colloquial thing my teacher used, but with Rule of Thirds it’s basically where the grid lines intersect, at least, if i understood right. A bit embarrassing but i was out of it for that class due to how early it is

Thank you! I’ve been enjoying it a lot. i’ve been struggling a bit with ethics after some followers have been asking for various things. One wanted me to sacrifice another follower, which i turned down, another asked me to sacrifice them, which i also turned down.

Then there was a dissenter which wanted to leave. The game told me my only option was to talk them out of it, put them in prison, or let them go. I chose to let them go and the asshole stole some of my gold which i’m not too pleased about. So far though i’ve kept a pretty clean moral slate (outside the bowl of shit)

I might just spend an evening and sit down to binge it all, because I’m curious on a lot of the lore

I think you summed it up perfectly, there’s not an awful lot of grinding (if that’s the right word) to beat a level. I’m sure there’s other roguelikes like that, but this is the first one I had a brush with

When I had noticed that I could sacrifice one of my followers in a skill tree, I figured I might have to sacrifice some of my own morals. It does make me tempted to try to keep as many morals as possible though just for the challenge

I always assume it’s because i do so much Halo. Which, i mean, i think is a fair opinion for someone to have. I do post a lot of Halo stuff. Though, i knew one guy who wouldn’t give Halo a try, as he saw it as “Mid-Sci-fi slop”, which is… certainly an opinion. Can’t say it’s one i even come close to being able to agree with.

I’m just weird when it comes to my 'i’s. I went through all of my school years and only had one teacher who tried to help me with it. Somehow i came out of it only capitalizing the beginning of sentences and nouns (when i remember). I was just thinking to myself how it’s odd no one pointed out out after all this time just the other week.

I didn’t know that English was the only one that capitalized 'i’s though. It’s an interesting thing to learn about the language

That was how my Highschool was growing up too (way after Halo’s hay day interestingly enough). I figured out how to get a copy of Custom Edition to run that had all the CE maps on it.

Passed that out in woodshop one day on a USB drive and everyone got a copy on their School Issued laptops. we had a huge ass LAN party going 5 days a week
