Cooking @lemmy.world•Talk me out of using countertop induction cooktops (with outlets for both higher powered commercial and lower powered household devices) as my burners vs having a built-in cooktop.
01·3 years agoHow much room do you have available on your countertop? That could be an issue.
If you gas stove doesn’t have a hood, or it just has a hood that recirculatis, then I could see the benefits.

I don’t hear leftist because I don’t listen to commies, they belong dead in a gutter like you
I have absolutely no idea what’s going on according to your favorite propaganda outlets. Russia invalid Ukraine in 2014, starting with Crimea and then the Donbass. Just because Russia solders took off their patches, doesn’t mean they weren’t Russian soldiers.
Russia invaliding sovereign countries is a tail as old as time, just look at Georgia.
Anywho, enjoy supporting war crimes, and remember, a quarter of a million Russians have died face down in the mud for nothing.
Imagine not standing with Democracies, and instead being okay with Authoritarian regimes bullying their neighbors for the sake of the glorious leaders vanity.
Seams like some real faggotry.

Fediverse@lemmy.ml•Hey, I host a lemmy instance focused on books and reading (and all the communities that fall under that umbrella)
171·3 years agoI took a quick peak and I created an account too.
I don’t see too many communities for individual series, except for Harry Potter. I can think of a few that I know I’d like:
Lord of the Rings Wheele of Time GameofThrones The storm light archive Mistborn Cosmere Cremposting - this is a shit posting sub of the above three TheExpanse
Yeah, I’m pretty basic.

01·3 years agoHonestly that box fan filter seems like a bigger and cheaper HEPA filter, which I like. Definitely will look into the air monitor as I wanted a humidity monitor already.

01·3 years agoCan I get away with just keeping a CO2 detector in the kitchen and bedrooms, or should there be one in the basement as well?
I sure do, bunch of monkey lovers

From what I can tell, you’re right that it is bolted/nailed to the stud.
This is only a temp change, as I’m looking to get up into the ceiling to look for excess water, from a sink overflowing.
The smoke detector drank a bit of water, so I’ll be buying a new one today.
