2·3 years agoYeah I might go that route; I’m 170+ hours in so just from playing the game I’m not really hurting for many resources but I’m also not sure how far I am from being able to actually take advantage of that one area. On the zappy islands right now so I think I’m close-ish but I also have been taking my time with stuff lol.

You jump to the right and you shake a hand, then you jump to the left and you shake their hand. You meet new friends and you tie some yarn. And that’s how you do the Scarn.

3·3 years agoIt’s getting used to sticks+gyro. Using the sticks for the big movements and the gyro for the fine tuning. That’s what got me through a lot of Splatoon, and then I found that system brilliant for Diablo on the Switch. I played Diablo Eternal on the PS4 and it felt like a downgrade without the gyro assist, to be honest. I haven’t used M+K for so many years (like since the original X-Wing came out) so it’s kind of tough to go back to that after so many years with a controller, but it just takes time to adjust I suppose.

1·3 years agoThere’s just so much to explore…every time I walk 5 feet in any direction I feel like I just started some other side quest lol. Maybe the perceived discrepancy in sky islands vs the depths can be explained by observing that the parts of the depths where there’s nothing really there would be the parts of the sky islands that are just sky? Haven’t played Diablo 4 yet, but have some friends that are really really into that franchise and have been enjoying it a lot.

0·3 years agoI’m still really deep into Tears of the Kingdom. Maybe 90 hours in and still only have gone through two of the regional/sage quests, because the side quests and adventures are really a lot of fun. Exploring the depths is super cool. While the sky islands seem to make up less of the game than I thought they would, they’re still a cool part of the game and I’m still exploring, side-questing, and occasionally getting back to the main story quests. Given all of that, why did I buy Diablo II for the Switch? Because it’s nearly 70% off right now and with some credit I had it was $10 and I got a lot of playtime out of DIII.
