Are you saying that only the 3 people that got let go (and potentially shafted), are the only people that worked on the game? I don’t believe that’s the case but I could be wrong of course.

If a studio goes under cause of lack of sales of a game it’s not the execs who suffer. Can’t see the point your making rn?

Not sure I can support that take. Kinda focussed on the headline there and ignores the fact that other people work there also, that are probably relying on the success of this game for their paychecks and ability to keep making games. The dev industry in general is not in great shape atm.

Let the courts sort out shady business practices imo.

Support a decent game (if it is decent).

60 hours in and loving it. Enemies get much harder further in. I find the lore excellent as a Dune fan. Graphics are great and gameplay is fun and challenging, every thing feels like a constant threat and achieving anything is rewarding.

That’s fair. Not every game is for everyone :)

If you got credits, thats you completed the tutorial. The game has ridiculous depth and story to discover. I can totally see how not every one gets that

If you enjoy this vibe check out void crew. Similar premise but been out a few years and more rogue like elements

Had a similar experience a few years ago.

There was a film that I saw as a child called Bernard and the Genie. It had Lenny Henry and Rowan Atkinson in it so figured it would be easy to find.

Long story short it was on VHS only and never got a dvd remake so could never find it. Finally found it on a back water pirate site that seemed sketchy AF.

I think we’re going to lose so many more movies if we haven’t already.

Kinda agree. New graphics card is deffo a nuclear option. I’m running pop os and haven’t come across a game I can’t run as it’s got the Nvidia drivers built it. I’d probably try swap distro before buying a new card just in case it’s that. That’s just time and effort rather than buying something that ‘might’ work.

Probably also worth noting that valve are updating the proton drivers all the time, they want the entire steam catalogue to work on steam deck so I would expect every game to work on proton over time. Might just be a waiting game tbh.
