Are you telling on me? like a child. Love to see how you included the context that show that these were all in response to the exact sort of behavior at issue in this thread. Enjoy your defederation. and enjoy your life where you’re such an insufferable person that people are literally fighting about how to best not be anywhere near you. You must be proud.

It is pretty unique to hexbear and .ml on Lemmy from what I’ve seen. Even if what you just said was true (it’s not) that doesn’t excuse it
That’s hard to believe when it’s basically almost the only thing (and other serious and aggressive trolling and not trolling.) I’ve not seen any calm reasonable and rational responses from hexbear users until this post threatening to get rid of them
While I have not seen Uyghur genocide denial there
It’s there
It’s quite disingenuous to say defederating because of political differences. It because you guys are intolerable and intolerant trolls who go on the attack at the drop of a hat at every opportunity. I haven’t seen hexbear ever participate in good faith outside of this very thread. You’re only nice and capable of calm, rational, reasoned discussion when you’re being threatened with consequences. Ironically a luxury that communist nations would not provide you with.
You’re living in a fantasy world

0·3 years agoNo it’s when there’s mysteriously dozens of comments just magically showing up that are contrary to the vastly popular opinion on only one contentious issue, that serve the best interests of an entity with the time, resources to try to sway public opinion through fake grassroots posting. Also that entity has a fragile ego and a long history of online manipulation…oh and also coincidentally they are all coming from the same server

0·3 years agoPossibly, I didn’t look where they’re all from, nor do I know what hexbear is or why it’s significant. Sounds like some kind of intra-Lemmy drama which I’m not too interested in. Just noticed a fair amount, lets say…not totally organic, seemingly agenda pushing comments.
Edit: Forget my previous comment. I now see the problem with Hexbear.

0·3 years agoLots of suspicious comments in this thread. Seems like political astro-turfing has already arrived on Lemmy
Who cares? As liberal I’m sick of the mellow-dramatic outrage culture. People aren’t perfect. Who knew? If you don’t use brave what’s the alternative? Google, who is much worse? Maybe “don’t let perfect be the enemy of good” and stop using the lefts social capital to alien people over small personal gripes.
I notice people who write these types of articles never open themselves to the same sort of scrutiny.

02·3 years agoI’m honestly quite happy mods are being removed. Reddit has had major problems for years and their moderators are HUGE part of it. The sooner the old mods go the better. I bet OP has removed hundreds or even thousands of posts and users with impunity and no second thoughts. They are only upset now that the same treatment they have given out so freely has now happened to them. It’s really poetic justice in my opinion.

1·3 years agoMods don’t typically give 2 shits about what users want either. I don’t support what reddit is doing, thing is I don’t support much of what reddit has done for the past 7-8 years. You guys are just now catching on that reddit has ceased to be a viable platform even though in reality its death happened long ago. A big part of the problem is overzealous and power hungry mods, especially in the bigger subs. So yeah, I don’t support reddit, but I really couldn’t care less about how the mods perceive themselves to be mistreated either. Basically they are getting just a tiny taste of the treatment they’ve given the average user for years and suddenly just right they FINALLY see it as a problem. Cry me a river. You reap what you sow.

No you aren’t.
You just want me to say more so you can pick it apart, fight, and troll. That’s what you guys do and that’s the exact behavior at issue in this thread. There is discourse with you and that’s the exact problem. There seems to be n such thing as a good faith discussion with members of your instance. That’s why you’ve already been defederated from multiple instances and you’re about to be again.
