I edited my comment to reflect DTNS instead of TNT. Thanks for helping me realize that I, for some reason, wrote Tech News Today instead of DTNS while I was definitely writing about DTNS, haha.
But yes, I agree that if OP does listen to DTNS and ends up enjoying it, the Patreon is the way to go! I do this for The Morning Stream and it’s worth every penny to me.

You may also enjoy Daily Tech News Show by Tom Merritt. He worked on Leo Laporte’s shows in the past. Ron has appeared on Tom’s show before I believe, and longtime TWIT host Sarah Lane now shares host duties on Tech News Today.
Edit: Details and I am foolish.

I switched to Podcast Addict from Pocket Casts back when the app was first bought out. There were a ton of bugs at the time. I’ve been happy with Podcast Addict and had no desire to switch back.
Edit: Spelling.

Liftoff has been pretty great so far. Looking forward to trying Sync though.

Thanks for this, I was curious if certain news outlets were on Mastodon yet. Helps me a lot!

Had this issue with Liftoff last night, but clearing the cache on the app and relogging fixed my issue. Liftoff had another update today, so hopefully that was a fix for this bug.

Sad that Ray Stevenson passed away recently. He was an incredible actor. I’m looking forward to seeing his final performance, but it’s bittersweet.

Thanks for the transparent update!

Thank you for this, and your continued work on the servers.

Regarding farming, aside from poor farming methods, another sad reality is that a huge number of farmers bought into the cheap fertilizer sludge on the market. The sludge grows well but contains high levels of PFAS (toxic microplastics). Crops have been full of microplastics for decades. The same is true of fields and streams containing local deer and fish populations. If you hunt and eat those animals, you ingest PFAS as well.
In the USA, State and Federal agencies are starting to research the PFAS problem as well as fallout medical effects. Are ingested PFAS a cause for our high rates of cancer or mental health disorders?
As with everything they’re starting to ask for funding and nobody’s quite sure who’s going to pay for it yet.
A lot of migration patterns are changing, too. Where I live, Carolina wrens are now more common than they were even a decade ago. As climate change takes place, colder climates warm and birds common in warmer areas move in.

Thank you for the hard work! Enjoying Lemmy.world quite a bit. :)
I got the email yesterday and went ahead and canceled. All the months of zero content during the writer’s strike made it pretty easy to do away with a lot of these streaming services. Gotta vote with that wallet!
