I’m on a long re-read of the R.A. Salvatore Drizzt series. Right now it’s: The Orc King (Transitions, Book1 - #17 in the wider series).
I was on vacation for a little over 2 weeks and went through 6 books on the trip. Trains, planes, coffee shops, and hotel room before bed. It’s surprising how much reading can get done in-between exploring new cities.
Just curious, why do you think Biden has to do anything? There’s teams of people in charge of enforcing laws that don’t need the president to tell them what to do. A CEO doesn’t tell everyone under him what to do. He just expects them to do their job to the best they’re able.

I added a “Flexible Space” portion to the top and that allowed me to click and drag. Otherwise I had to use Alt+Space+M to make it moveable.
Maybe it’s the portable version I’m using, but I can’t figure out how to click and drag the window. There’s nowhere up top to grab and move to another monitor/shift around on the screen. Am I going crazy or is there a different way to move it around?

I’m using an app called Hermit for this. It makes webpages into apps and gives flexibility to customize them heavily. User scripts as well. It works great with my instance (lemdroid) since they offer a few front end options.
You can also solo apps from each other. Definitely check it out.

I’m at a non-profit and we work 9-5 with, technically, a 30 minute lunch break. So when we take a PTO day, it is 7.5 hours instead of 8. I’m remote though, so I just work through lunch or take that time to cook something.
I thought, “New Caledonia, I wonder how close to the French coast it is…” It’s closer to Australia and no where near France. That island should have had it’s independence long ago.
I know it’s science fiction and belief should be suspended a bit, but 10K years and their tech is the same? Did they just reach a peak they couldn’t pass until Spice was found and used for further travel?

I have the newer M9. Really nice size for reading books and comics. I got the folio cover as well so I’ll just walk around and watch movies/shows while doing chores. It’s definitely not a fast tablet, but isn’t terrible either. Browsing the web is fine, but it feels faster using my pixel 6a instead. Best part, it has a micro SD card slot. I’ve loaded it up with books, comics, shows, and movies. Going on airplanes is great with it.
I got the newer Lenovo M9 and it’s great for the price. It can stutter at times, but comics, books, and stremio - no problems.
I think the pico in the top-right burger will mostly be eaten with a fork after it falls off. But everything looks delicious.
Ah, I really wanted to go the zenphone route, but when my pixel 3 (I think) died, I went the cheap avenue with a 6A. I was about to travel to Scotland and needed a decent phone at a reasonable price. If I had the funds I’d have gone with your choice.
Oh man I miss the PH-1. Mine got it’s screen cracked so I switched to Pixel. Just such a satisfying weight and size for it. But at the end the battery life was rough.
I’m personally a huge fan of the series. I’ve been reading them for 20+ years by now. There are always up and downs, but the not good books are still better than others I’ve read. It’s also great to see how characters have changed throughout the series and the wider Forgotten Realms / Faerun world has been affected by the books in connection with bigger D&D events.
Technically a prequel, but was written after Icewind Dale, there is The Dark Elf Trilogy which explores Drizzt’s origins and escape from the Menzoberranzan. Definitely recommend if that’s not what you started with.
The nice thing is that Salvatore released novels at a good pace. I’ve been waiting for the 3rd Kingkiller Chronicles book by Patrick Rothfuss for… 15 years I think?
