Asking an existing userbase for any kind of change will pretty much always result in a no.

If you’re trying to position yourself as a search engine that hasn’t enshittified, don’t head down that road without asking. Know your userbase. They’re using duckduckgo for a reason.

This is the same party that forced Harris on us without a primary. The same party that put its weight behind Cuellar, ostensibly because they protect incumbents, but their unwillingness to protect Cori Bush or Jamaal Bowman showed that to be a lie.

Which lasted until Mamdani ran against Cuomo.

Until she’s kicked out like Hogg.

You’re the one mocking someone’s hair because you can’t refute what she’s saying. No, I am not the anti-DNC here. You’re pro-DNC only so long as none of them ever stray too far to your left.

She is the DNC, she was DNC last time she ran as well afaik.

And yet your advocacy for the DNC stops when someone to your left speaks. Every single time.

But also there are other things like hundreds of thousands enraged men.

The way we fix that is by being credibly willing to address their problems. Actual problems, not the bullshit they’ve been fed. Homelessness, poverty, healthcare, wages, childcare, addiction treatment, a legal system that many of them are just now noticing is unjust and Kafkaesque, even something as simple and universal as burnout, all the evils wrought by capitalism. This is why I’m so fucking angry at centrists all the time. Their dishonestly held power within the Democratic Party has resulted in there being no party willing to address these issues with any level of credibility. Without a credible way forward, they’ll find a con man who at least acknowledges that their problems exist.

Incrementalism is not a credible solution. It’s a way for people who do nothing to justify doing nothing.

I’m an advocate for the DNC.

This is an opportunity to build solidarity that lasts beyond this crisis, which will be vital in preventing the next one, as well as in destroying the systems of oppression that got us here in the first place.

Just stick to it until its not a problem anymore.

Reciprocated solidarity forges alliances that endure long after the immediate threat.

It has to be abolished via legislation. But the legislation won’t pass without overwhelming public support and a willingness to primary anyone who doesn’t support it. ICE was a mistake. It is beyond reform, because the only people ICE hires are people who voluntarily apply to join ICE.

At no point did I advocate letting up pressure or the ostracism these nazis have earned.
