Nothing bad will happen if you ignore this. You’ll just keep getting the message on boot.
If you want to fix it, you’ll need to upgrade your BIOS. Find out what motherboard you have and go to the manufacturer’s website; then download the latest BIOS. Put that file on a FAT formatted thumb drive and boot to your BIOS (hold either F2 or DEL on boot, look up the key for your motherboard manufacturer). In the BIOS there will be a option to upgrade the BIOS from USB. Run that and you should be good to go!

President Donald Trump made a bargain with India this week that introduced a simple calculus.
- America dramatically lowers tariffs on Indian goods.
- India stops buying Russian oil in favor of Venezuelan and American crude.
- Russia will be deprived of a core customer and source of funding for the war in Ukraine.
Bleak stuff. At one point the article mentions that they are a huge number of challenges: lack of jobs, cost of school, lack of transportation, no friends, limited relationships with family. Capitalism is the source of all of these problems. Fixing them under socialism will take a lot of time and effort.
I don’t understand investing very well, but Planatir’s price to earnings ratio is 587. Generally the P/E ratio of a company that investors think is going to grow a lot is around 30. NVidia is at 55. That probably means that Planatir is extremely overvalued.
I have also heard that detached homes in the South-East aren’t selling. We might be looking a conaplae in prices for housing in some areas of the US.
I suspect that Trump will happily allow people to leave the States. It makes it easier to brag about how many foreigners he has gotten out of the country.
There are rumors circulating that this is actually a $100,000 annual fee instead of a one time fee. There are also rumors that the fee could be waived at the discretion of the executive branch.
So Larry Ellison will control TikTok and David Ellison controls Paramount (which owns CBS). William Randolph Hearst would have been impressed.
These numbers are for April 2024 - March 2025. 911,000 fewer jobs is a shocking revision. Turns out everyone who has been saying that they can’t find work were telling the truth.
I just don’t understand how someone can say that their farm is going to lose an enormous amount of money due to Trump’s policies, but still support Trump.
The corporate media hard at work already. Clearly, it must be impossible that a person can be nice to their friends and colleagues while also destroying millions of lives.
