I wonder why? Just taste buds changing as you get older, or more exposure to alternatives?
I suppose also that the flavors themselves might have changed over time, but there are plenty of people that love them now, probably.

Is it just sunk-cost fallacy that keeps them in denial, or is their view of reality truly that warped? At any rate, if there are more people that want to leave America because it’s “too woke”, then godspeed.

When did you play it? I liked the game when it came out, but I tried to replay it recently and the mechanics did not age gracefully. It’s pretty clunky by modern standards.
I’m sure that to a lot of people this is likely sacrilege lol

Bust down a door and say, “Heeeere’s Tronnie!”

Thanks for allowing me, too, to experience a patronizing grandad’s voice so that I can empathize with OP
Yeah, this actually sounds fine to me. Since they’re entirely self-made men who acquired their wealth through their own hard work and gumption, it’s only a minor setback.

Legend of Zelda along the same lines. I remember how cool it was that it could save progress without constant power. Caveat is… It’s so hard without a guide or a lot of trial and error.

Since you mention the d-pad. It was patented, so all the big companies had their own legally distinct spins on it. Nintendo has their cross; sega had a circle thing; Sony had discrete buttons, Microsoft had a different circle thing.
The Nintendo patent actually expired a number of years ago now, so nowadays the cross is showing up more places.
Wood stoves have something called a baffle plate that redirects hot air so that it flows along the interior top of the unit before leaving through the chimney. The purpose is to heat the metal enough for radiation tranferrance. I often put a ceramic-coated cast iron kettle on top, and it will boil if left for a while. Anyone who sits on the stove would have a very bad time.
Built in fireplaces work differently but aren’t typically sit-onable.
I injured my hand last week, so my normal escapes (woodworking and video games) are not available right now, and holy shit has it been a hard week. I didn’t realize how much I relied on these breaks from the otherwise constant stream of bullshit.
I have an iron woodstove. It gets very hot, but that’s the point.
Amanda Hugandkiss?
I think he had two (cowboy and bawitdaba), so I’m sure he’d be offended at being called a one hit wonder.

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

I mean, I hope so, just like I hoped so for Twitter.
Evidently a lot of people can’t give up whatever is the biggest social platform of its type
Wait, what’s the other hand doing?

Cyberpunk (the genre) typically has corps being the enemies, disposing of people in the name of profit. It really seemed like that was where we were going to end up since most people just assumed that corps were crueler than people. Then fascism came out swinging, and evidently a lot of people are really gleeful about making innocent people suffer.

I really wish Randy would shut the fuck up, because it seems like the actual devs really care about this game.
I hear people say that all generations have their dumb numbers, but I don’t remember so many establishments having to ban 69 back in the day. Yes, there will have always been something dumb getting popular, but I think it’s more willfully obnoxious now, and I don’t think I’m just an old man yelling at a cloud.
E: Thinking about it a bit, I think there’s truth to it being willfully obnoxious. The rise of social media encourages being more disruptive, causing a bigger scene, anything to go viral. God, now I really do sound old.
