I remember when I first got on reddit, it was still bigger than lemmy is now, but it still felt small enough that commenting actually felt worthwhile. Definitely excited to be here. Tryna engage as much as possible so people feel there’s a community to join

Like others said, this is excellent. I also always just used reddit to stay informed, and it wasn’t always the best at doing that. I really like this cut the bullshit approach

Where I live we never had school buses, so I was always dropped off at school and would walk home. I used to think it was odd to have a school bus pick kids up, though that was before I realized how fucked car centricity is
