I only just learned about that combination yesterday. Sounds like I should look into it a bit more?

I can’t remember what Discord did at the time, but there was a decent push to try and move to a different platform. We tried out Guilded, but we had a pretty hard time getting adoption from the users on our Discord server and ended up dropping the transition.
I didn’t think I’d ever say this again, but TeamSpeak 5 is actually looking like it could be the solution we’re looking for. I still need to figure out how I can host a server compatible with version 5 though.

7·3 years agoLikewise! This game had the most hype out of any game in our gaming group and was a complete disappointment on release.
I just told one of my friends that I was excited to see that Diablo IV was at least working on launch, which is a pretty sad bar that many AAA games aren’t reaching.
But I agree, I’ve been wanting to hop back into Cyberpunk again and this is the fulcrum that I needed!

55·3 years agoIt sounds like we’re finally getting close to the original game we were promised. I’m glad that they’re giving updates to the original owners as well

Technology@beehaw.org•How would you make Lemmy nicer for yourself?
1·3 years agoI would love for links to other Lemmy domains to be localized to your home domain by default. It could also include a small button to then switch over to the other instance if you wanted to register a separate account there.

2·3 years agoLooks like Reddit is down at the moment. I wonder if they’re making any large changes today to take advantage of the blackout distraction.

Technology@beehaw.org•Reddit experimenting with blocking mobile browsers
9·3 years agoTotally agree with that. I was just checking my Reddit account and it looks like I signed up in 2011, so I’m not sure how much things changed in those first few years, but I love how this site reminds me of the original reddit I knew

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•for the Reddit refugees, do you also feel a bit heartbroken?
5·3 years agoTotally agree. My reddit account is 12 years old, and I was only just now starting to gain confidence that there would already be a sprawling community for a new topic I found. I know it will take a long time to get that feeling again, but it’s also refreshing to see the fantastic discussions on this platform.

8·3 years agoIt’s insane the rate that we’re losing our core social media platforms. I’m off of Facebook, Twitter, and now Reddit… I’m really hoping that this community will help me fill those voids :)

15·3 years agoMan, it’s so satisfying to watch all of these subreddits switch to green. I really wish more of them committed to an indefinite shutdown though.

Interesting. I know our company currently prohibits the use of GPT for security concerns. I assume that this will be regulated by the workplace admins. Regardless, I’m interested in how slack plans integrate it
