Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What is your least favourite thing about the fediverse or lemmy?English
7·23 days agoWould like to point out politics is not actually the primary content on the fediverse and based on the downvotes you’re getting, you seem to be in a minority, not the majority. Now have a good day and bye.

10·23 days agoDon’t think I was demanding much here, I’m trying to say that people who want to talk politics should talk in the communities meant for that, not in the non political communities and make it everyone else’s problem. But sure, I’m demanding policy change to ban something.

101·23 days agoYeah I understand here, there’s a lot of knock on effects from political decisions that eventually cause stuff like this. I was more focused on people coming into comment sections and spouting political ideology and partisan politics rather than stuff like what you’ve said here.

691·23 days agoDefinitely the amount of politics, it gets brought up in far too many places where it is unnecessary, I avoid political communities and stuff like that, yet I keep getting it in communities with 0 relation.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How often do you think the highest upvoted comment on a post is the one you most agree with?English

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Does Lemmy have more freedom of speech than Reddit?English
4·4 months agoI was using Lemmy And am now on piefed and I can say that Lemmy feels more free from reddit. I find my stuff getting removed less and if it did, the mods would have actual reasons for it rather than reddit mods which removed stuff because they felt like it. There’s still the mob mentality with down votes and people still mass down vote things they don’t like though

I’d suggest Cromite as a good option if Firefox based browsers run terrible, I use it since Firefox browsers are not recommended on Grapheneos for security reasons.
