Why don’t you get into politics to create laws against this so you can take those that are responsible to court and get them into prison then? That would seem a bit less unhinged than calling for a mob to burn people alive.

You do know that by taking such a stance on politics and being active about it, you’re pretty much a politician yourself?
I mean, where do you draw the line? After you burned Bernie and aoc on the stake, each for being too much of a politician, who’s next? Anybody who’s willing to take political responsibility in any way? Anybody who ever had a public office? You’d burn the middle management of NASA next? Or do you need to have been voted for, do you’ll just kill anybody who ever participated in some stupid school board?
But yeah, whatever, you’re obviously unhinged and insane, so go ahead and keep agitating against people you consider not left enough. You know that there’s someone like you left of you doing the same thing about you, right?

Aaaaaand straight to “we should fight democracy”. Unbelievable.
“Damn fascists, killing people and destroying democracy! To protect people and democracy from them, let’s kill people and destroy democracy!”

The left: “yes, you got that right, we should totally kill people that support our cause but in the wrong way.”
Also the left: “why can’t we get people on board?”

As unhinged as suggesting to… burn people?

We should do it but kill people that join that we do not deem worthy of supporting our cause
Nope, still not getting better.

I’m absolutely not saying not to do anything about it, in fact we should do a general strike
So you’re saying it’s generally a good idea but because now some of the Dems support the idea, we should no longer publicly support that plan because it might legitimise people you don’t consider left enough?
And you think that makes your point… Better, somehow?

I think other issues had been more important so we shouldn’t really do anything now.
What a dumb take.

The real question is who those 236,357 cars were sold to. Which European buys a car from a guy who did a Hitler salute live on stage, twice?
How is this an amoled background?
Fun fact: you actually can’t because moving planets to the space between earth and its moon is hard as fuck.

Currently doing a DIS rewatch. Not a big fan but not on the hate train either. But man, my intestines cramped from the cringe when that scene popped up.
Replacing milk with oat milk is easy and works well.
Cheese though…

How do you wanna be remembered in history? Alongside the Wright Brothers, Elon Musk, Zefram Cochrane? Or as a failed fungus expert? A selfish little man who put the survival of his own ego before the lives of others.

Well, he got his mention in Star Trek as one of the great people to will have advanced humanity, so I guess after having that had crossed off his list he could just do something different next.

Is that the bubble beginning to pop?

Played the demo a bit. I really enjoyed the mechanics illustrated here. Felt like a modern roguelike with a license I’d enjoy.
The one thing that stood out negatively for me was the art direction. Especially the character design. It’s one thing to not have the original faces, which is fair. I guess it’s some rights oddities with actors and actresses owning their own likelihood or something. But the movement is stiff and they just feel kind of… I don’t know, “dead” would be a hard word, but it kind of fits. I would have preferred a more comic-like appearance or something. Maybe a bit like the tf2 characters? That wouldn’t require the high budget that’s needed to make a human look decent which then never works anyway and always ends up deep in the uncanny valley. I also would have preferred a more abstract look of the systems, like an astrometrics map or something, with views that show actual models more true to scale (e.g. like the look of homeworld).
I’m too busy to play video games right now anyway, so I guess I’d wait for a sale either way, but it still feels like the game could have worked better for me, personally, if a few decisions in the design process had been made differently.

Well, you know, the question was why that guns topic is so much more important than all the other atrocities going on. You see the relation in there? This idea of “I get there’s topic A, but why the fuck would that matter more than actually relevant topics B through ZZ?” Any relevant answer would thus have to establish some relation between A and any other topic and maybe generalise this relation a bit.
Your answer was “guns and v8 make dick hard”. More or less. Which is a not too elaborate but somewhat fair statement in itself, but, you know, kind of absolutely doesn’t answer my question. Alas, you missed the topic. Happens to the best. But don’t get all mad if you don’t get your upvote then, pal.

If that’s the reason for guns and huge cars, then it’s one of the best takes I’ve ever seen for regulating the fuck out of both.
There are plenty of other ways to feel empowered, big boy. Go downhill mountain biking. Learn martial arts. Become a part time lumberjack. Whatever. But if you just need hobbies that make you pound your chest, there’s really no reason to pick those that kill people or the planet.
Please, go ahead and explain what kind of democracy you’d prefer to that one and how you’d get there by having a mob burning people.
